Help Support Cadie & Jacy After the Heartbreaking Loss of Their Mum, Joanne Thomas
This Christmas, two young sisters—Cadie (18) and Jacy (13)—are facing a devastation no child should ever have to experience. Their mum, Joanne Thomas, a loving, kind-hearted, and fiercely devoted mother, recently lost her brave battle with cancer. She was their safe place, their strength, and the person who filled their lives with warmth, love, and guidance.
Now, in the midst of their grief, Cadie and Jacy are left with the overwhelming responsibility of arranging and paying for Joanne’s funeral. With very little family support and limited resources, they are doing everything they can to honour Joanne’s memory, but the financial burden is simply too much for them to face alone.
At a time of year that should be filled with togetherness and hope, these girls are instead trying to find a way to lay their mum to rest with the dignity and love she deserves. We are reaching out to ask for compassion, kindness, and any help you can offer during this unimaginably painful time.
Every donation—no matter the amount—will go directly towards funeral costs and helping Cadie and Jacy maintain some stability as they navigate the difficult days ahead.
