Our new window display features a Buddha in a jungle setting. This jungle symbolises everything dense overgrown and chaotic: overwhelming emotions intrusive thoughts old memories and confusing life circumstances. The Buddha here represents the realisation that you don’t have to wait for life to be tidy before practising awareness. You can simply sit amidst the tangle.
Enlightenment isn’t sterile; it’s mud vines storms and a calm steady presence amidst it all. Instead of fighting or fleeing difficult thoughts and feelings, sit with them observe them and allow them to pass. Witness them without becoming them.
To embody this symbolism consider:
Meditating as Buddha in the jungle: imagine sitting calmly while vines of thought and waves of emotion swirl around you. Each time a challenging thought arises notice it gently label it and let it pass.
Journaling: name three specific painful truths and then ask what each one is trying to show you that you previously refused to see.

We are delighted to welcome Victoria Betts to the clinic!

After working in caring positions for over 20 years Victoria realised her true love was health and well being and she decided to retrain as a clinical reflexologist. She says ‘The body has always amazed me at how it can send us silent signals of ill health and one way is through our feet! Our feet have over 200,000 nerve endings in each foot and we call these reflexes which are connected to our organs, structures and systems of the body.’

* Benefits of reflexology are:

Improve well being
Increase energy
Relax and reduce stress levels
Help release suppressed emotions

Here we are at the end of the year again, looking back and reflecting on the year.
We have proved that we are a steady, reliable business making purposeful progress.
We have expanded our team welcoming Marie Floyd recently and Holly and Emily have settled in nicely with us.
Emma has introduced more complimentary therapies such as warm bamboo massage and crystal healing and Lisa has started her analysis and write up stage of her doctoral research on therapists working with complex dissociative clients.
The cherry on the top came when we won Best Health and Wellness Business in 2025. We were surprised but thrilled and are still pinching ourselves that so many people voted for us. Thank you again we are very grateful. 🙏
Here’s to a year of solid foundations, and measurable impact, helping you to get real results in your own health and wellbeing. Onward and upward!

Being true to yourself at Christmas comes from listening to your inner guidance, stepping away from the noise, and choosing what resonates with your deepest self.
Some questions to ask yourself are:
- Which areas of my life feel misaligned at this time, and why?
- What boundaries would honour your authenticity at this time?
If you were to spend the Christmas period in solitude with your authentic self, what would you change?

We had our Xmas ‘do’ last night. This year we decided to all bring a selection of food with some mulled wine and create an end of year closing circle in the clinic instead of going out. As well as receiving our secret Santa gifts we also took time to reflect on the past year and created a wonderful collective yarn web honouring our supportive connection.
Here are some of the questions we asked ourselves and some that you might take time to ponder over:
How have we expanded our worldview?
How have we been brave?
How have we created balance?
Have we trusted our own wisdom enough and looked within?
It was lovely to share our experiences of the year and helpful both to have to have time to stop amid the pre Christmas busyness, and also to realise what we might want to take into 2026 or leave behind.

We are coming up to Christmas and everyone we are talking to is exhausted, rushing around or stressed. So take a deliberate pause to find some calm.

In this moment of suspended time, surrender becomes clarity: releasing the impulse to act, we breathe, observe, and gain a fresh perspective. Through quiet contemplation, we discover that calm isn’t passivity but a powerful stance from which new insight can unfold, transforming pause into a doorway to deeper understanding.

Come and find some calm with us before Christmas.
