Today, on Mother’s Day, I’m reflecting on the many forms that mothering takes.

Over the years, I’ve had the honour of supporting more than 1000 mothers through hypnobirthing and as a doula. I’ve witnessed extraordinary strength, vulnerability, courage, and love in so many different forms. Each journey has been unique, and each one has taught me something about the depth of the human heart.

Mothering is not defined only by birth.

It lives in the people who nurture, guide, protect, hold space, listen, and love deeply. It shows up in those who care for children, families, communities, friends, and strangers with tenderness and dedication.

Today I’m thinking of:
✨ those who have birthed their babies
✨ those who mother without having given birth
✨ those longing to become mothers
✨ those who have lost a mother
✨ those navigating complex relationships with their mothers or with motherhood itself
✨ those who mother in quiet, unseen ways every day

To mother is to embody qualities like patience, compassion, resilience, fierce protection, gentleness, wisdom, and unconditional love. These qualities shape lives and ripple far beyond what we can see.

To all of you who carry these qualities into the world — thank you. Your care, strength, and presence matter more than words can say.

And a special thank you to my own mother, who inspires me every day. ❤️ Your love, guidance, and example continue to shape the way I show up in the world and in the work I feel so privileged to do.

Today, and every day, we honour the many faces of mothering. 💚

There’s something quietly powerful about the sound journeys we share at Together Against Cancer.

Every couple of months we gather in this gentle, supportive space with people at many different points in their cancer journey. For a little while, there’s nothing to do and nowhere to be — just a chance to lie down, breathe, and be held in the sounds of the gongs, bowls and chimes.

What always moves me most is the atmosphere we create together. It’s not something I bring alone — it’s something that emerges from the group. Courage, tenderness, fatigue, hope… everything is welcome in the room.

Today’s session felt especially powerful. A room full of people allowing themselves a moment to rest and receive, exactly where they are.

Deep gratitude to the team and community at Together Against Cancer for the incredible work they do supporting people living with cancer and their loved ones.

It’s always an honour to hold this space with you. 💛💜

✨ “Wait… acupuncture and gongs together?” ✨

That’s usually the reaction when I mention Acu-Gong at our community sound baths.

For over three years now, Carolyn and I have been quietly co-creating these sessions every couple of months, and they’ve become one of the most powerful experiences we offer.

The idea is simple, but the experience is something quite unique.

During the session, Carolyn works with very fine acupuncture needles, chosen specifically for each person. At the same time, I guide the group through an immersive sound journey with gongs, singing bowls, percussion and other therapeutic instruments.

When these two practices meet, something shifts.

The acupuncture helps the body’s energetic pathways open and rebalance, while the sound waves move through the body and nervous system in a deeply settling way.

People often tell us that with Acu-Gong the mind drops into stillness more quickly… the body softens more deeply… and the experience feels incredibly spacious.

Over the years we’ve received some truly extraordinary feedback from people who’ve experienced it.

Our next session arrives just after the Spring Equinox — that beautiful moment when light and dark come into balance and nature begins its quiet awakening again. A perfect time for resetting, recalibrating and coming back into balance.

Usually these sessions fill very quickly, but this time we still have spaces available.

We trust that the right people come at the right moment — but if you’ve ever been curious about Acu-Gong, this might be your moment.

What happens when sound and art meet in the same creative space?

Sound becoming colour.Frequency becoming creativity.

Resonance Art is a unique collaborative experience exploring the relationship between sound and artistic expression.

This isn’t a sound bath followed by painting.

Instead, the two unfold together.
As sound waves fill the luxurious penthouse studio, you’ll respond to the frequencies in real time through colour, movement and form — allowing the sound to guide the creative process.

Sound has a powerful way of shifting our state of consciousness. It softens the busy thinking mind and helps us step away from the critical voice that so often tells us we’re not creative enough.

From that quieter space, something more intuitive can emerge — curiosity, play, imagination and flow.

Resonance Art is an invitation to witness and experience that unfolding.

A space where vibration becomes inspiration.

✨ Join us for this very special collaborative exploration of sound, creativity and resonance.

Sunday May 10th

Mothering Sunday Sound ✨

This Sunday evening, 15th March, we’ll come together for a deeply soothing Waltham Sound session - a perfect pause in the rhythm of the month and a beautiful way to honour Mother’s Day.

This offering is an invitation to slow down, soften, and be present - whether you come on your own, bring your own mother, child, or someone who has held you with care and warmth.

Sound has a way of speaking where words are quiet, supporting emotional openness, deep relaxation, and a sense of shared presence that can be truly nourishing. In this space, we lean into the qualities that Mother’s Day can evoke - love, gratitude, tenderness, resilience - in whatever form they show up in your life.

Mother’s Day can be a tender time for many - celebrating those who have nurtured us, recognising the women and people who have shaped our lives, and holding space for those whose experiences of motherhood are complex or unfulfilled. This sound session invites you to honour mothers of all kinds, including those who have loved without giving birth, those remembering difficult journeys, and those simply embodying care and compassion in the world.

Bringing someone with you - or tuning deeply inward to your own experience - can be a meaningful way to witness and celebrate the many expressions of mothering, support, and connection that enrich our lives. Everyone is welcome to this evening of sound, serenity and shared presence.

Still feeling the gentle ripples from last night’s Blood Moon Sound Journey at

There was something quietly powerful about gathering together under that lunar energy — resting in the shadow, allowing the sound to move through whatever was ready to soften, release, or realign.

Eclipses can feel subtle yet profound. A shift you can’t quite name. A clearing. A remembering.

Thank you to everyone who came with such openness and trust. The stillness in the room, the depth of rest, the shared silence at the end — it was truly special to hold.

If you’re noticing tenderness, vivid dreams, clarity, or simply a deeper sense of calm today, know that this is all part of the integration. Be gentle with yourself. Drink water. Move slowly. Let it unfold.

Our monthly sound journeys at are now open for booking through to June, and I would love to welcome you to a future evening if you feel called to continue exploring this work together.

For now — breathe, soften, and carry that steadiness with you into the day 🤍

Sunshine, stillness, and the soft arrival of a new season 🌿☀️

This morning’s Sunday Sound felt like the most beautiful way to welcome March. A bright spring sky above us, a new month unfolding, and a room full of open hearts ready to pause.

For many, it was their very first sound bath — and it was such a joy to witness that first settling… that moment when the body realises it can soften. Watching so many new faces relax into the sound journey was truly special.

There’s something about this time of year — the light stretching a little further each day, the quiet sense of renewal in the air — that makes these gatherings feel even more meaningful. A gentle awakening, together.

Afterwards we lingered in the sunshine with warming spiced tea and homemade treats, sharing reflections and easy conversation before slowly stepping back out into our Sunday feeling grounded, lighter, and quietly restored.

If you missed this one, or feel called to join us again, our next Sunday Sound will be on Sunday 29th March, where we’ll be honouring the energy of the Equinox — that beautiful point of balance between light and dark.

It would be lovely to welcome you.

There’s something powerful that happens when sound softens the mind.

When the nervous system settles.
When the inner critic loosens its grip.
When you stop trying to make something “good”… and simply begin to listen.

This one-off immersive workshop is a weaving of sound therapy, gentle hypnotherapy, and intuitive art-making — held in a beautiful penthouse space, in a small, carefully held group.

It’s for the curious.
For the sensitive.
For those who feel drawn to create, but don’t always feel confident.
For those craving depth over noise.

No art experience is needed.
No performance.
No pressure.

Just presence.

There are now only a few places left, and once they’re gone, this offering won’t be repeated in this form.

If something in you responded as you read this, that might be your answer.

The sea is calmer today.
The wind has softened.
The waves are no longer fighting the shore.

But mindfulness isn’t just for stormy days
or peaceful ones.
It’s for whatever the weather brings.
The good.
The hard.
The beautifully ordinary.

It’s meeting each moment with curiosity instead of resistance.
Openness instead of judgment.
A quiet willingness to say,
“Let me see what’s here.”

We don’t have to cling to calm
or push away the storm.
We practice presence in all of it. 🌊

19/02/2026

Not every mindful minute feels peaceful.
Some feel like this — wild, restless, untamed.

Wind in your face.
Salt in the air.
Waves crashing against unmovable rock.

Mindfulness isn’t the absence of waves.
It’s not waiting for the sea to calm down.
It’s standing steady while it moves.
It’s feeling the surge without being swept away.
Letting the storm pass through you
without becoming the storm.

You are not the chaos.
You are the shore.
Rooted.
Steady.
Still here — no matter how hard the sea hits. 🌊
