You may be struggling with something, feeling lost, disconnected, stuck or unable to find meaning in life. I can offer a safe, accepting, non-judgemental therapeutic relationship in which I will walk alongside you as you explore and make sense of what you need to. I believe in individuality, each person experiences life events in their own unique way. I strongly believe people can be empowered to find their own answers; our therapeutic relationship can facilitate you to find them. My approach is non-directive; the sessions will be your own to go in the direction that you choose. I am non-judgmental, regardless of my own values and beliefs you will be accepted for who you are and met with empathy as I increasingly gain a deeper understanding of you and your situation. I can be with you in chaos and stuckness, I can sit with you in deep thought and I can walk with you into dark places. Whatever you have experienced, need support to get through or are suffering with, our person-centred therapeutic relationship can help. I offer a free half hour initial session with no obligation to move to regular sessions if you don't feel we fit.

Guilt is a powerful emotion and not always linked to something we have done wrong, but a background sense of not being enough, of letting others down, or of somehow failing to meet expectations. Living with ongoing guilt can increase anxiety and overthinking, make it difficult to rest or switch off, lead to low mood or hopelessness and can prevent people from recognising their own achievements and worth.

Childhood emotional neglect is when a child’s emotional needs, such as affection, encouragement, empathy, or validation are chronically overlooked or dismissed. Over time, the child internalises the idea that their feelings don’t matter, and this often carries over into adulthood, making it hard for a person to recognise or express emotions.
