We have just got back from the funeral of Janet Benzie. What a nice, well mannered, polite, and friendly family Jan had. I never knew or even met Jan, but from the stories the celebrant told us all, she was a fine lady, and not to be trifled with at times. In a few days, Jans ashes will be scattered on the rose bed, so she will be back with her husband, Derek. RIP Jan. x

As a Funeral Director, I don’t get the drive the hearse much now. I am either sat in the passenger seat or driving the limo home with the family. It was nice to drive the hearse on a funeral again while another Funeral Director took the lead.

Yesterday Melton and the Vale were at Bramcote Crematorium. Proud to look after another family, and give them the help and support they needed at this sad time for them.
