A Sunday Well Spent 🎲♟️🧩

Is there anything that screams 'Sunday' more than a good game of Domino's, a cuppa and a biscuit? We think not!

Some of our residents have enjoyed time in the quiet lounge on our Nightingales floor, playing dominoes and enjoying eachothers company, sometimes the most simple activities bring the most connection. 🫂🩷

This time of year you really take a step back and smell the daisies. Treetops floor and Nightingales floor came together to make some stunning arrangements to go on their floors, and of course, no flower arranging is complete without tea and cake 🧁

Yesterday at The Amwell Care Home we celebrated all the wonderful ladies who mean so much to us. 💐

The home was full of smiles, laughter and love as our ladies were treated to beautiful flowers and delicious cakes lovingly made by our fantastic catering team. The atmosphere was truly special, with so many relatives visiting to spend precious time with their mums and celebrate together.

It was a real buzz around the home and a lovely reminder of how important family moments are. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so memorable. 💕

So proud of the whole team at The Amwell for creating a beautiful send off for our lovely Ros 🎀

When Rosalind Blackwell sadly passed away with no family, staff at the Melton Mowbray care home where she spent her final years did a very special thing for her this afternoon.

We were deeply touched when a resident’s son kindly gifted our team chocolates and prosecco in memory of his father. It meant so much to the Treetops team and was a lovely reminder of the special relationships formed here every day.

We are so proud of our amazing, caring team who support residents and families with compassion, dignity and kindness particularly when it matters most. 💙
