Bowen Therapy Cymru

Bowen Therapy Cymru The Bowen Technique is a very gentle, relaxing yet surprisingly effective therapy.

It involves small massage moves over very precise areas which releases tightened tissues, balances the nervous system and encourages the body to start it's own healing process.

💀 Tight jaw muscles, medically known as temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ), can lead to tension headaches and migraines. When the muscles around your jaw are overly contracted, it can create discomfort and even radiate pain throughout your head.

🤗 This is where the Bowen technique comes to the rescue! It's a gentle, non-invasive therapy that aims to rebalance your body and promote healing. The technique involves gentle rolling movements over specific points on your muscles, tendons, and fascia, stimulating corrective responses in the body.

✨ So how can the Bowen technique help relieve tight jaw muscles and alleviate headaches? Here are a few key benefits:

1️⃣ Relaxation: By targeting the jaw muscles, the Bowen technique helps release tension and relaxes the surrounding area, promoting an overall sense of calm and wellbeing. 😌

2️⃣ Improved Circulation: The gentle movements used in Bowen therapy increase blood flow to the affected area, allowing for faster healing and reducing inflammation. 💆‍♀️

3️⃣ Muscle Alignment: Bowen technique aligns the muscles and fascia, addressing any imbalances or misalignments that may be contributing to your tight jaw muscles. This can help reduce the frequency and intensity of headaches. 🌟

4️⃣ Holistic Approach: Bowen therapy takes a holistic approach to treating tight jaw muscles. It considers the whole body, identifying any underlying factors that may contribute to the issue. This approach can lead to long-lasting relief and improved overall health. 🤸‍♀️

So, if you've been experiencing headaches, consider giving the Bowen technique a try! Consult with a qualified therapist who specialises in this technique to ensure you receive the best care. 🙏

Remember, taking care of your body and addressing these issues early can prevent them from turning into chronic conditions. 💪😊

(Note: The Bowen technique is not a substitute for medical advice. Please consult with a healthcare professional if you have any concerns or questions regarding your health.)

Flip-flops are famously rough on the body and it's NOT just because they lack support. They encourage flexion of the toes (to hold the shoe to your foot) at a time in gait when you should be EXTENDING the toes. The result is compensation throughout the body, especially the neck.
