Today is Emergency Services Day.

We are delighted to announce that Southborough in Surbiton has been crowned this year’s Aria in Bloom champion. 🏆

The team and residents have transformed their outdoor space into something truly special - a garden that has something for everyone. From vibrant flowerbeds bursting with colour, to home-grown vegetables nurtured from seed, and planting for bees and butterflies, every corner has been carefully designed to bring joy and connection.

It’s not just about the plants, but the people. The garden has become a space for events, laughter, and shared moments - whether enjoying it on the lawn, from the balcony, or through the windows.

👏 Congratulations to everyone at Southborough for creating a space that celebrates nature, community, and accessibility for all.

👏 We’d also like to celebrate our runners-up, Kingsclear in Camberley and Southlands in Bexhill-on-Sea, whose gardens were full of creativity and inspiration.

From creating delicious meals for our residents to bringing joy to our team, Paul has been a very important part of our family. His dedication, creativity, and kindness leave a lasting legacy.

We wish him every happiness in his well-deserved retirement – he will be very much missed!

Last week was a week of fun at Coppice Lea! ✨
From rolling strikes at skittles 🎳 to sizzling up some delicious fajitas 🌮 for National Fajita Day, we’ve been keeping busy! We even had some tiny visitors pop by to brighten our day 💖🐹. And to top it off… fresh, warm cookies baked by our very own hands 🍪😍.

Celebrating World Photography Day at Aria Care.

Earlier this year, we launched a photography competition across our homes to capture the heartfelt moments of joy, love, and care that make our communities so special.

The winning photograph, taken at Albany Lodge, was chosen by our Media Producer, Marcus Gilbert. Today, Marcus visited the home to present the team with their prize – a brand-new Canon camera and a photography workshop – so they can continue to capture and share the many special moments that happen at Albany Lodge every day.

Home Manager Sarah shared:

"We’re so excited to have won the grand prize. This camera will help us showcase even more of the heartfelt moments in our home, and we’re grateful to Aria for giving us this opportunity. Our photos will now look more beautiful than ever when we share them with our community."

✨🎪 Cirque du Coppice – What a Day! 🎪✨

We had such a wonderful time last week,surrounded by our amazing families and friends at Cirque du Coppice! 💛

Our highlight of the day was Catch of the Day, beautifully performed by three incredibly talented ladies, showing us all that with determination, anything is possible. 🌟

The event was filled with treats and smiles – our candy cart was a hit, and the little ones loved the colourful face painting. 🍭🎨

Despite the cloudy skies, gusty winds, and a few rain showers, the laughter and excitement never stopped. In fact, we even had the chance to try some circus fun ourselves – with staff (and even some brave residents!) eager to be lifted high into the air. 🎈

After the show, we enjoyed delicious hamburgers, hotdogs, and a raffle to end the day on a high note. 🌭🍔🎟

The weather may not have given us sunshine, but the sunshine was truly in everyone’s hearts. ☀❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined and made it such a special day we managed to raise for Marie Curie £328.

🌹 We were touched by a beautiful surprise from the family of a much-loved resident who was in our care. In her memory and as a tribute to her love for roses,her loved ones planted a stunning rose bush in our garden. A heartfelt gesture that will continue to bloom, just like the fond memories she left behind. 🌹

🍓🍑 Fruit Tart Fun at Coppice! 🫐🍊

Our lovely residents rolled up their sleeves and got hands-on preparing the fresh fruits for some absolutely delicious fruit tarts! From carefully slicing strawberries to arranging juicy grapes just right — everyone added their own sweet touch.

The best part? Sitting down together to enjoy the tarts afterwards… and yes, they tasted as good as they looked! 🍰💛

Teamwork, laughter, and a whole lot of fruit just another lovely day at Coppice! 🍇✨
