Each Friday morning, I offer an uplifting yoga class at Reigate Community Centre, designed to help people release the week's stresses and tap into a sense of wellbeing, vitality and ease in time for the weekend.
The class is warm and welcoming. It's about moving and feeling good in your body more than achieving any particular shape. As well as traditional yoga poses, I incorporate free-flowing somatic movement, breath awareness and themes that aim to inspire a greater sense of connection and aliveness.
It's a friendly group. People get to know each other and enjoy having a chat before and after class. We go for regular coffees together.
Some previous experience of yoga is recommended, though if you are a beginner and able to move your body in a range of ways, you are welcome to give it a go. There are currently a few drop-in spaces available each week. Course booking is also available at the start of each half-term.
