🌿Yoga & Wild Swimming Retreat - THIS SUNDAY! 🌿

Hi everyone,
2 spaces have become available for my half-day retreat at Divers Cove in Godstone this Sunday (all retreats have been sold out so far this year).

These retreats are a perfect way to reset & recharge. Could be great for you if you're feeling the need for some time out right now.

The retreat includes:

🌟Uplifting yoga practice to start the day
🏊‍♂️Swimming/dipping in the gorgeous lake
🔥Private use of the saunas
☕ Drinks, snacks and time to chat
☺️Soothing, yin-style yoga practice
✨Deep relaxation session for a blissful end to the day!

No previous experience of yoga or wild swimming needed. My yoga sessions are welcoming and inclusive. The lake is a great temperature right now if you're new to wild swimming.

Runs 9am to 1pm. £75pp.

Unwind stress and tension from body and mind with this welcoming and inclusive yoga class. Each session combines breathing practices, mindful movement, soothing stretches and deep relaxation.

You'll leave the session feeling calm, clear and replenished. It's a great reset for the rest of the week.

Classes take place Tuesdays, 7-8pm at Reigate Community Centre. Beginners are welcome.

Welcoming beginners yoga course, starts next Wednesday!

Sessions take place each Wednesday, 9.15-10.15am, at Reigate Community Centre.

Book the full 7-week course or attend individual sessions on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Who is it for?

This course is aimed at those who are either completely new to yoga, or have had some prior experience and would like to feel confident in the foundational aspects of the practice.

Being flexible is not a requirement and the focus is on each person listening to their individual body and developing a practice that is right for them.

What to expect

The sessions are friendly and welcoming, and will offer you a calm space in the week in which you can clear your mind and tend to your wellbeing. Each class incorporates movement, breathing practices, a range of yoga poses, and relaxation. Yoga philosophy is woven into the classes to inspire your practice and everyday life.

Have you heard about the benefits of yoga and been wanting to try it out for some time? Or perhaps you know someone else who would really benefit from yoga but hasn't had the opportunity to try it out yet?

Starting on Wednesday 2nd October, I'll be offering a 4-week beginners yoga course for anyone who'd like a gentle introduction to yoga. You don't need to be flexible and this course will suit those who are looking to move, stretch and strengthen their bodies, and experience the mindfulness benefits of yoga, without the need for a fast-paced workout.

Can't wait to get back into a new term of yoga classes, starting this week. If you've been wanting to try out yoga for sometime or to get back into your practice after the summer break, it would be great to have you at either of these classes:

Easeful Evening Flow, Tuesdays, 7-8pm - a delicious wind-down from your day combining mindful flowing movement, breathing practices and stretching. We finish with a deep relaxation practice to leave you calm and replenished. 8-week term runs September 3rd to October 22nd.

Uplifting Friday Flow, Fridays, 9.30-10.30am - An uplifting yoga class to start the day incorporating revitalising movement, breath awareness, stretching and relaxation. Leave the class feeling lighter, more present and connected - ready for the weekend ahead. 8-week term runs September 6th to October 25th.

Both classes are mixed levels. Beginners are welcome though for the Friday class it's suggested you are comfortable moving your body in a variety of ways.

You can book the full 8-week course for either class for £80 or purchase a drop-in (providing there's availability) for £12 per class.

Each Friday morning, I run a friendly and welcoming yoga class in a lovely upstairs room at Reigate Community Centre. It combines feel-good flowing movements, breathing practices, soothing stretches and relaxation to unwind the stresses of the week, and to uplift your energy for the weekend.

This half-term, the theme is 'cultivating joy' and we're exploring tools, ideas and practices to help us find more moments of joy, contentment and ease in our everyday lives.

This summer, take time out in nature and tend to your wellbeing with a half-day programme of yoga, wild swimming and deep relaxation in a beautiful wild setting. These turquoise-tinged waters are only a short drive away in Godstone and Divers Cove makes the perfect escape for anyone who feels like some time out or just wants to do something a bit different with their weekend.

You don't need to have experience in yoga or wild swimming to take part and these retreats can be a great way to try out either. You can have a short dip or swim and then make the most of the sauna if you're new to wild swimming, or take full advantage of the lake's 450m and 600m loops if you're a more experienced outdoor swimmer.

Here's a breakdown of what the retreat includes:

Refresh your body and mind at the end of the week, and uplift your energy for the weekend ahead, with this Friday morning yoga session.

A build up of stress and physical tension can impede our natural sense of vitality. Yoga is a wonderful way to let go of the stresses of the week, to unwind physical tension and to reconnect with your natural energy, lightness and joy.

Beginners are welcome to this class. It also offers options for those with more yoga experience.

Come along for the six-week term, starting this Friday 19th April. £54 for the term or £10 for a weekly drop-in.

This spring and summer, I'm delighted to be offering a series of regular Yoga & Wild Swimming retreats at Divers Cove.

You can still book a space for the first retreat on Sunday April 14th, running 9am to 1pm.

Coming on a retreat might be just the dose of wellbeing and vitality you need if you've been feeling stressed or depleted recently. Or it could be a great way of making some time for yourself if life has been feeling very busy.

Or, perhaps you’re feeling hungry for a bit of an adventure. Too much time cooped up inside over the winter months and you’re pining to get outdoors, to reconnect with nature, to revitalise your body and mind...

Come by yourself, come with a friend, or come with a group - it would be great to have you along on one of these retreats. Vouchers available if you'd like to gift a retreat to a friend.

You don’t need to have previous yoga or wild swimming experience. The lake will be quite cool for the earlier retreats so you may wish to dip (rather than opt for a longer swim) if you are new to outdoor swimming!
