Acute attacks of gout (Tuesday and Wednesday only).

This is only available for emergency prescriptions and the emergency supply of medication, at the discretion of the duty pharmacist.

We have come to a mutual agreement with Keir Hardie pharmacy that it is best for our patients to order with the pharmacy 5 days before they are due.

This is not just Keir Hardie that are 5 days. Every pharmacy is now the same. This will help us all. If you can all please order them 5 days in advance, that will be much appreciated. This allows us to have a good turnaround time and prevent any delays with scripts.

This then allows patients to have their prescriptions on time and not have any delays inbetween which causes upset and frustration.

We are sorry for the convenience caused in the past. Due to the increase in patient numbers with the pharmacies and also the practice themselves, it has been difficult to have a 2/3 day turnaround.

I hope you understand ☺️

We feel this will benefit the patients massively, aswell as the staff who have to meet these standards.

We apologise from the practice for the past events but hopefully this will help🤞🏻
