Exciting news! It's My Shout are coming back to Merthyr!

After last years success, It's my shout will be back in Merthyr on the 19th May to look for more budding actors and crew members. There are so many opportunities available on this fantastic project!

It’s National Gardening Week, and as we’ve been lucky to have some wonderful weather, our Community Living Partner has spent a few days out in the garden with the residents at St Tydfil’s Court. The garden is a beautiful space where everyone comes together.

Residents love spending time in the garden and shared how much it helps them. They tell us it gets them moving, lifts their spirits, and lets them enjoy the fresh air. As one resident put it, “there’s nothing like seeing your hard work pay off when the garden is in bloom.”

It’s amazing to see the joy and sense of community the garden brings, especially during spring and summer.

FREE Photography course for beginners!

We're thrilled to have been given the opportunity for a 10 week beginners photography course to be run at the centre through Community Learning Merthyr Tydfil.

Perfect for novices, hobbyists or people who just want to level up their photo skills.

If you want to take better photo's of your family, your adventures, or just the world around you then this is a great place to start.

We are looking to run the course on a Monday morning, but the details will be confirmed once there's enough interest.

This World Earth Day we're thrilled to let you know that Las Community Hub is an official Keep Wales Tidy - South East litter-picking hub!

You'll now be able to drop into Calon Las to borrow all the equipment and resources you need to organise your own litter pick. Whether you're a small group of friends, a family, or a larger organised group - we'd love you to pop in and use the equipment. Together, we can make a real difference to our shared environment.

Huge thanks to Mark and the team at Keep Wales Tidy for their continued support in making these initiatives happen.

Great stuff! Well done all!

The final results of the two day Mindfulness Mandala Class for Merthyr Valleys Homes. There were more pieces but these are the finals.
We think they're amazing.
