Large Police Presence Still due to Serious Incident at 🏴
South Wales Police are currently responding to a serious incident in Talbot Green, Rhondda Cynon Taf, on the evening of March 9, 2025. Emergency services have been deployed to the area, and a significant police presence has been reported. Details remain unclear, but local witnesses have described a chaotic scene.
One witness, who works at a nearby restaurant, said, “We were told to stay indoors. There are police cars everywhere, and it’s very unsettling.” Another resident, Dawn Latcham, recounted seeing numerous police vehicles with flashing blue lights and officers cordoning off the area.
Authorities have yet to confirm the nature of the incident or whether there are any injuries. This follows heightened concern in the community after a prior altercation outside Talbot Green Police Station in January, which left three officers injured.
