📅 Friday 1st May 2026

A team of us from Church Walk Surgery are excited to kick off our fundraising challenge today! We’re raising money for new equipment for a new room within the surgery—and we’d love your support.

🏃‍♀️ The Challenge:
We’re taking on the Viking Way… again and again! The full route is 149 miles, and together we’re aiming to walk over 1,000 miles between 1st May and 30th June.

👣 This will be a mix of virtual and physical miles, all tracked on Strava and totalled up each Sunday so we can see how far we’ve come.

🎉 In June, a group of us will be tackling a 10-mile stretch between Wellingore and Lincoln—and yes, we’ll be wearing Viking hats! Keep an eye out for us and our photos on social media.

📸 Get involved!
If any of our wonderful patients would like to join in, you’re more than welcome. Walk any part of the Viking Way and send us your photos next to the Viking Way footpath signs as proof—we’d love to share them on this post!

💚 We’re passionate about encouraging physical activity for both our staff and patients to support healthier, longer lives.

🙏 Please get behind us and support in any way you can—whether that’s walking, sharing, cheering us on, or donating anything you can. Every contribution, big or small, will make a real difference.

Thank you so much in advance!
