Today, as we welcome the longest day of the year, I’ve been reflecting on what I’m truly cultivating—within myself, in my relationships, and in this work.

The Summer Solstice is more than just a seasonal shift; it’s a spiritual turning point. A reminder to pause, honour the light within, and ask ourselves: What am I growing? What am I ready to release?

Perfectly Imperfect! 😊

Although last night wasn’t the full Strawberry Moon—that was the night before—I was so tired, I didn’t beat myself up about missing it or not doing any rituals. Then, in the early hours of this morning, I was up with Mabel 🐾 , who’s been a little under the weather. As I let her out into the garden, I was greeted by the sight of an almost full Strawberry Moon 🌕. It was beautiful.

I stood there for a few moments, just watching. Then, of course, I started trying to get the ‘perfect picture.’ I spent a while adjusting angles and settings, but nothing came close to capturing what I was seeing with my own eyes. I kept hearing this little voice—maybe it was my intuition, or perhaps my angels—saying, “Sarah, forget the photos. The beauty is in the moment itself. You’re missing it.”

So, I put my phone away and just bathed in the glow of the moon, feeling such deep gratitude. Even though I missed it the night before, I was being given a second chance—and that felt kind of magical.

I have a tendency to be a perfectionist, and sometimes that gets in the way of actually experiencing things fully. It’s something I’ve been working on. And while it’s still challenging at times, I’m starting to feel the benefits of letting go a little. Things don’t have to be perfect to be meaningful. Perfectly imperfect is more than enough.

🪽 TRUST THE NUDGE!! 🪽

Today, I asked my angels for help. I asked for a miracle. And I truly believe I received one.

I’ve been struggling lately to fully trust those quiet inner nudges—that subtle feeling to pause, to stay a little longer, to look again. It’s so easy to dismiss them as coincidence or imagination. But what happened today left no doubt in my heart. I asked for a miracle, and it was granted 🙏.

It reminded me just how powerful those moments of intuitive guidance can be. They rarely shout and they are not the big dramatic moments we expect them to be. Often, they arrive as a feeling, a knowing, or a tiny shift in awareness. But when we honour them—when we listen—we open ourselves to support and synchronicity.

If you’re learning to trust your own intuition and build a relationship with your spiritual guidance, keep going. Keep asking. Keep listening. Even when it’s quiet - ESPECIALLY when it’s quiet.

I don’t mean to be cryptic, but out of respect for the people involved in today’s situation—who may come across this post—I’m not sharing the story. ME/CFS AWARENESS WEEK: Day 5

🧘‍♀️ Meditation and ME: Finding a Moment of Calm 💙

Living with ME can mean your mind and body are often on overdrive, and finding calm can feel almost impossible. That’s where meditation comes in – but honestly, I used to think it had to be this long, perfect practice to make a difference. Spoiler: it doesn’t! And don’t let anyone tell you you can’t lie down to meditate either - you can!

Sometimes, just a minute of deep breathing or focusing on one positive thought can help to feel a bit more grounded. If you’re not sure where to start, guided meditations are a lifesaver. There are loads of great ones on apps like Calm, Headspace, Spotify and YouTube – just press play, close your eyes, and let someone else do the talking.

If you prefer to keep it simple:

Sit somewhere comfy, close your eyes, and take a slow, deep breath in through your nose.
Breathe out through your mouth, letting your shoulders relax.
Repeat a few times, and just let your thoughts drift by without trying to chase them.
It’s not about being perfect – it’s just about giving yourself a little space to breathe. 💙

ME AWARENESS WEEK: Day 4 - 🐶 Fur Therapy! 🐾

💙 Sometimes, Rest Is the Most Important Thing 💙

Today, I’m keeping it real because, honestly, living with ME and Fibro isn’t always easy. These photos are from different days over the past couple of years – moments where I just needed to rest. Sometimes, it’s obvious, I look pretty tired, and that’s the reality of managing chronic illness.

One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is that rest isn’t a weakness – it’s essential. Taking time to recharge is just as important as celebrating the good days. Luckily, I’ve got my very own fur therapy to make rest a little bit easier. 💙🐾

ME/CFS AWARENESS WEEK: Day 3

🌟 Finding Joy in Small Moments: Gratitude and ME 🌟

Living with ME – or any other chronic condition, for that matter – can be unpredictable, but one thing I’ve learned is to hold on to the small moments that bring me joy – they make the tougher days a little bit easier. 💙

This week, I’ve been taking a moment to appreciate the little things that lift my spirits:

🦋 Watching butterflies dance around the garden
🚶‍♀️ Taking short walks right outside my door when I don’t feel like venturing far
🍔 Enjoying a family BBQ, surrounded by love and good food
🌅 Watching the sunset from my doorstep, glass of wine in hand, chatting with a friend about life
🦯 Being grateful that I can walk with a stick, rather than resenting that I sometimes need it
🐝 Saving a little bee that looked like it had given up, and watching it fly away after a bit of TLC
🪡 Hearing from someone who bought one of my handmade key rings and loved it so much they took the time to tell me how perfect it was for their sister
🍝 And – this one’s a bit ridiculous but totally worth it – discovering that a spaghetti server makes an excellent back scratcher when you’re home alone! Honestly, the relief was unreal! 😂

Some days, it’s easy to focus on what’s tough, but I’m a great believer in finding the good – even if it’s just a small thing. Gratitude doesn’t mean denying how hard life can be; it means choosing to focus on the moments that remind us there’s still light on the darker days.

Sometimes, I have to have a word with myself when I catch my mindset slipping, but remembering these moments helps keep me grounded. It’s about appreciating what I can do, not just dwelling on what I can’t. 💙
