JULY 2025 Appointments Update
July there was a total of 43 Hours 55 Minutes missed appointments.

The breakdown of these appointments missed, per clinical team are as follows:-

GP Appointments - 11 Hours 20 Minutes
Advanced Nurse Practitioners - 6 Hours
Mental Health Nurse - 2 Hours 30 minutes
Physio - 1 Hour
CTAC Treatment Nurse (Randolph Wemyss) - 25 Hours 5 Minutes.

We appreciate there can be issues surrounding why these appointments were unable to be cancelled in advance. If you can cancel an appointments your not going to attend we really do appreciate this, as this allows us to utilise this time for other patients. Thank you again for your continued support.

You may recall in June we explained that in the month of May there was a total of 53 hours missed appointments. We are pleased to say this has improved for the month of June. In June 37 hours and 10 minutes were lost due to patients not attending or notifying us to cancel these appointments. Although still a lot of appointments wasted it is an improvement on May. We want to thank you for your continued support, if you do not require a pre booked appointments please call the surgery to let us know so we can offer this appointment to another patient. Thank you.

Emma and Michelle represented the practice this afternoon by joining Jacqueline Thomson, Deacon - Church of Scotland, along with many others from the community to celebrate Jacqueline’s retiral with a lovely afternoon tea at Buckhaven Community Centre.

The afternoon was filled with lots of lovely stories of Jacqueline’s time with the church and beyond.

Jacqueline has been part of the Airlie team for many years, firstly with the Listening Service and latterly has been an integral part of the setting up of the Cancer Care Group and still attends monthly to offer her help and support.

We wish you well in your retiral Jacqueline x

On the 18th June we are celebrating movement in all its forms.

Movement for Health invites you to support and celebrate the important role that movement has for people living with long term health conditions. We want to shine a light on movement, the work of Movement for Health and its coalition members, partners, and community of practice and celebrate all the movements that people living with health conditions can do, big and small.
