THE RESULTS ARE IN!

Appointment Update - October 2025 Total time lost for patients not turning up 36 Hours 10 minutes.

The breakdown of these appointments missed, per clinical team are as follows:-

GP Appointments - 9 Hours 35 Minutes
Advanced Nurse Practitioners - 7 Hours 20 Minutes
Mental Health Nurse - 5 Hours 30 Minutes
Physio - 1 Hour 20 Minutes
Nursing Team including CTAC Treatment Nurse (Randolph Wemyss) - 12 Hours 25 Minutes.

Although this is better than last month, we cannot re-iterate enough appointments are precious and all we ask is that you take the time on your text reminder to reply Cancel - which would allow your appointments to be used by someone else.

Airlie Medical Practice will be closed for staff Training on Tuesday 11th November

The practice will close at 1pm on Tuesday 11th November and re-open as normal on Wednesday 12th November.

Please see the post attached for details if you require urgent medical care on Tuesday afternoon. For anything after 6pm please call 111 as normal and for anything life threatening please call 999.

Some GP practices are taking part in a Protected Learning Time session on Tuesday 11 November between 1pm and 6pm.

Practices take part in a number of sessions throughout the year to allow staff to access training. During this time:

▶️ patients requiring urgent care should call 01592 729 250
▶️ appointments should attend unless advised otherwise
▶️ pharmacies should call 01592 729 250 for urgent enquiries

Advanced Nurse Practitioners - 5 Hours 20 Minutes
Mental Health Nurse - 9 Hours
Physio - 2 Hours 20 Minutes
Nursing Team including CTAC Treatment Nurse (Randolph Wemyss) - 18 Hours 40 Minutes.

AUGUST 2025 Appointments Update

August there was a total of 42 Hours 55 Minutes missed appointments. 1 hour less than JULY!

The breakdown of these appointments missed, per clinical team are as follows:-
GP Appointments - 7 Hours 50 Minutes
Advanced Nurse Practitioners - 3 Hours 15 Minutes
Mental Health Nurse - 6 Hours
Physio - 2 Hours
Nursing Team including CTAC Treatment Nurse (Randolph Wemyss) - 23 Hours 50 Minutes.

We appreciate there can be issues surrounding why these appointments were unable to be cancelled in advance. If you can cancel an appointments your not going to attend we really do appreciate this, as this allows us to utilise this time for other patients. Thank you again for your continued support.
