Appointment Update - December 2025

December - total of 32 Hours 5 Minutes missed appointments.

The breakdown of these appointments missed, per clinical team are as follows:-
GP Appointments - 4 Hours 50 Minutes
Advanced Nurse Practitioners - 4 Hours 40 Minutes
Mental Health Nurse - 5 Hours
Physio - 2 Hours 20 Minutes
Nursing Team including CTAC Treatment Nurse (Randolph Wemyss) - 9 Hours 25 Minutes.
Keep Well Clinics - 5 Hours 50 Minutes

Although this is an improvement on November we do appreciate the patients who do cancel their appointment and thank you again for your continued support.

Please ensure you have collected your medication in time from your nominated pharmacy. We advise to check with your local pharmacy direct for their opening times over the festive break, these may vary between pharmacies.

We will re-open as normal on all other dates over the festive period.

Face Coverings and Respiratory Symptoms

We would like to make patients aware of current guidance for GP surgeries regarding flu and other respiratory infections. If you have symptoms of a respiratory infection, such as a cough, fever, or high temperature, please follow the advice below when attending an appointment in person.

If you are experiencing symptoms of a respiratory infection, including flu, COVID-19, or the common cold:

Please arrive at your appointment time and no earlier, to help reduce the risk of infection spreading.
You are advised to wear a face mask while waiting to be seen and during your appointment.
Face masks are available in the main door on entering the building or from the reception desk if you do not have one.
These measures help protect vulnerable patients and our staff.

Face mask exemptions
If you are unable to wear a face mask due to a health condition or disability, please inform the practice in advance of your appointment. This allows us to make suitable arrangements to ensure everyone’s safety.

Keeping everyone safe
Wearing a face covering when you have respiratory symptoms and following instructions from practice staff helps keep the clinical environment safe for all patients and staff.

Please note that guidance may change depending on national advice and local infection levels.

This week is our last 5 day full working week before the Christmas and New Year breaks.

We will be closed on Thursday 25th and Friday 26th December and then again on Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd January.

Dont forget to allow plenty time if you need any medication ordered before the Christmas or New Year holidays, Also to remember, if you order via the pharmacy this can sometimes take a little longer, please check with your own pharmacy on their ordering, collection and closure dates over the festive period.

📣We need our BP machines back

If you have one of our Blood Pressure machines on loan we need to have these returned as soon as you are finished with these.

We currently are missing 1 from our stock and cannot help other patients until this is returned.

If you would like to purchase your own BP machine the British Heart Foundation website has information on best buys or we can give you printed information from the website.

Today we delivered donations to Wellesley Parish Church, Methil that have been collected by staff and patients at the practice for the Christmas appeal!

Blown away with the generosity, I’m sure with the amount we have collected along with the donations the church already have will put a lot of smiles on faces accross Levenmouth this Christmas 🎅

Still time to donate directly to the church, All donations to be handed in by Sunday 7th December 🎁
