CTAC Appointments Randolph Wemyss – Important Information for Patients

We are currently experiencing some difficulties with patients arriving late to their CTAC appointments and therefore unable to be seen. We would therefore like to clarify how the CTAC service operates.

Booking, cancelling or changing appointments
Airlie Medical Practice reception team manage all CTAC appointments. All appointments must be booked, cancelled or amended via our reception team on: 📞 01333 426083

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please reply CANCEL to your text reminder.

Arriving late

CTAC clinics run on a strict appointment system. If you arrive late for your appointment, unfortunately you will not be able to be seen and will be asked to rebook. This will be recorded as a Did Not Attend (DNA).

Queries on the day

Please note there is no reception team on site to support the CTAC nurse. Lynn is running a full clinic and is unable to manage appointment queries alongside patient care. If you have any questions about your appointment, please contact the reception team at Airlie Medical Practice, not the clinic at Randolph Wemyss.

Future location

Once our new extension is complete, the CTAC service will be delivered at Airlie Medical Practice, Ajax Way, which will allow the service to be fully supported and more streamlined.

Our building work is well underway. ON TUESDAY 28TH APRIL from 7.00 a,m, until 1.00 p.m. the car park will have reduced spaces (potentially 2 disabled and 4 others)this is for the morning only to allow the cement truck access. The cement sprays and we dont want this to affect any of our patients' cars so please be mindful when trying to park on Tuesday morning. Normal car park spaces will re-open after 1.00 p.m.

Bowel Screening – a small test that can save lives

It’s really important to complete your bowel screening test when it arrives through your letterbox. It’s a simple test that you can do at home, and it has the potential to save lives by detecting bowel cancer at an early stage.

We are increasingly being notified that some of our patients are not returning their completed tests. We understand this may feel unpleasant or inconvenient, but taking this small step can make a very big difference to your health.

Please, if you are sent a bowel screening kit, take the time to complete it and return it as instructed. Further information and support about bowel screening can be found below.
