Please share to show your support for the family of the late Ingrid Pitt.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Ingrid Pitt, who left us peacefully after battling illness, on 21 March at the age of 56.
Ingrid fought her illness with incredible strength, courage and grace for almost two years. Throughout it all, she remained brave and resilient, and her strength was an inspiration to everyone who knew and loved her.

She was an amazing individual, beloved daughter of Ann and Allan, sister to Mark, sister (in-law) to Claire, a beautiful auntie to Mackenzie and a friend to many. Deeply loved and forever missed, we are grateful for the time shared and the memories that will always remain in our hearts.

Funeral service to take place at Leven Parish Church on Thursday 9th April at 10.30am, interment thereafter at East Wemyss Cemetery at 11.30am, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited.

Rest peacefully and travel well, Ingrid. 💔

EASTER EGG APPEAL 2026

The Christmas lights are down and the winter chill is finally lifting, which means Easter is just around the corner and we’re ready to trade the candy canes for chocolate eggs.

As in previous years we are collecting Easter Eggs for distribution to deserving causes and local youngsters who might not otherwise receive a treat to enjoy at Easter.

As we kick off this years Easter Egg appeal, we wanted to take a moment to thank the incredible people in our community who support us time and time again.

We know that times are challenging for many right now, which makes your continued generosity even more meaningful, thank you for helping us make sure no one is forgotten this Easter. Together we are making a real difference.

We would be delighted to receive as many donations as possible here at Alex Little Funeral Directors 296 High Street, Methil KY8 3EJ. We aim to distribute all donations to worthy causes on Friday 3rd April and as such the last day to donate any easter eggs is 4.30pm on Thursday 2nd April to allow us time to deliver and allocate the easter gifts.

Huge thanks to all who have donated already. Your kindness never ceases to amaze us, we are genuinely grateful to you all for your continued support in all of the community activities that we undertake. “You are a great bunch of people, we are proud to serve in such a great, close knit community. Our thanks for your support could never be enough”.

From all of the Team at Alex Little’s.
