The family of the late Michael Carr wish to express their heartfelt thanks for the many kind expressions of sympathy received following their recent sad loss. The lovely messages, phone calls, cards and flowers were greatly appreciated and have been a great comfort to all the family.

The family wish to extend a massive thank you to Denis Madden, Civil Celebrant, they could not have asked for a better service for Mike, you captured his life and personality in the most perfect way, a special thanks to Karen of Finesse Floral Designs for her lovely floral tributes and The Dean Park Hotel for the fantastic hospitality and catering on the day.

A special thanks to Sharon and all the staff at Alex Little Funeral Directors for the outstanding care and compassion shown to Mike and his family.

A heartfelt thanks to all who attended and paid their last respects to Mike and donated to the sum of £273.68 towards the ongoing work of Whinnybank Cat Sanctuary.

The family of the late Gordon Stewart, known to many as Stewarty, wish to express their heartfelt thanks for the many kind expressions of sympathy received from family, friends and neighbours following their recent sad loss. The lovely messages, phone calls, sympathy cards and flowers, were greatly appreciated and have been a great comfort to all the family.

The family are especially grateful to the biking community for the overwhelming numbers, who turned out to follow Gordon on his final journey.

Special thanks to Denis Madden Civil Celebrant, for the beautiful tribute celebrating Gordon’s life. Special thanks to Karen of Finesse Floral Designs for her lovely floral tributes, Warout Football Stadium for their hospitality and to Lorraine Kennedy and staff for the catering on the day.

A special thanks to Sharon, Cally and all the staff at Alex Little Funeral Directors for their outstanding care and compassion shown to Gordon's family.

MUNRO peacefully passed away at Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy on Saturday 12th July 2025 Elizabeth (Bessie) Aged 86 years with her Son Andrew and priest Ian Young giving her peace, a devoted Wife of the late William, much loved Mother of Andrew, a loving Sister of James and the late George, Special Sister-in-law, Cousin and a great friend to many. “Bessie will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.”

Service to be held at St Margaret’s Church Leven on Monday 25th August at 4.00pm.
Funeral service to take place at St Margaret’s on Tuesday 26th August at 10.00am thereafter to Methilmill Cemetery where Bessie will be laid to rest beside her loving Willam at 11.00am, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. There will be an opportunity to make a donation, on leaving the service, in memory of Bessie for the ongoing work of local charities close to Bessie’s heart.
