Member Yulia has just given us £300 towards our services. A big thank you to her and yoga colleagues who organise Summer Schools. 🙏

Yulia chose us as we have been so supportive of her, and although she knows of other great local charities that support cancer patients, and larger charities that undertake research, she wanted it to go where she could see it making a difference.

SOLSTICE RISING Saturday 14th June at The Town Hall Stratford upon Avon.

As Summer approaches, immerse yourself in this incredible Yoga Day retreat at this historic grade II listed building in the heart of Stratford upon Avon.

The day begins with an opening Ceremony and Kirtan with Julie & Alex Mrowicki

Then the Legendary Stewart Gilchrist of the East London School of Yoga presents a 2 hour Dynamic Vinyasa Yoga session with philosophy and his famous sense of humour.

A delicious and Nutritious breakfast Lunch by Alexis Lyon Sinclair of Lexi’s Loving Spoonful will then be served.

YIN yoga & Sound Bath to follow with Jan Weston & Veronica Winter to relax and soothe.

The day closes with a 2 hour workshop from The incredible Joey Miles, a SUA first time for Joey.

Week 6 Yoga Summer School - Thursday 22nd August

Vinyasa Flow with Veronica Winter

Veronica has been practising yoga since 1996 and teaching Yoga since 2003, qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga on the 3 year diploma course and recognised as a Senior Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance with over 5,000 hours of teaching.

She has trained with Shiva Rea (Vinyasa Flow), David Swenson (Ashtanga) Norman Blair (YIN) and continues her studies with her teacher Ben Beswick of the The Old School Yoga Studio.

Veronica Winter teaches at a number of local studios and on Yoga holidays all over the world. She has ran the Yoga Summer School for the past 10 years, and in that time has raised over £20,000 for charity.

We showcase different Yoga teachers every year to give them the opportunity to highlight their skills, promote themselves and their classes or studios

£55 for 6 weeks of yoga with all profits donated to charity. This year we are raising money for Cancer, a very worthy cause. Even if you cannot make all 6 classes, just by taking part you will be supporting others. £12 drop-in is available but places will be booked first to students sign up for the 6 weeks. You may also give your place to others or share the 6 classes with a friend.
