The results are in....feedback from the latest webinar for Portfolio Pathway applicants and their supervisors has been extremely positive and encouraging.

The event was organised by South Tees Portfolio Pathway lead, Ms. Mehwash Nadeem, who pulled together a knowledgeable and supportive faculty to present and answer questions on the Portfolio Pathway application process.

Thank you to Mr Renol Kohsy, Dr Gireesh Naik and Elizabeth Swatkins for their time and contributing to what proved to be a beneficial and well-received session!

We will take on board suggestions about what future support we can provide and our focus for future sessions - watch this space...

Weekly review for Simulation and Human Factors team.

We have been across sites working with teams and individuals to build confidence in non-technical skills. Working with people requires communication, teamwork and decision-making under pressure; by investing in these skills, we are helping to improve patient safety and support staff wellbeing.

Great to see so many teams getting involved and making this training a priority.

What a week for the Simulation & Human Factors team!
Weโ€™ve loved bringing a bit of fun into learning, because meaningful conversations often start with laughter.
This week we:
๐Ÿ”ฌ Worked with our Pathology teams, across the UHT, using team-building games to explore non-technical skills like communication, decision-making, situational awareness, civility, and psychological safety
๐Ÿ” Collaborated with our F1 doctors in a unique simulation escape room experience, challenging, immersive, and a great way to learn together
๐ŸŒฑ Spent valuable time with our prospect candidates, sharing what we do and learning from them too. Great group of people.
We feel incredibly lucky to be welcomed into so many brilliant teams across the Trust. Thank you for your energy, openness, and willingness to get involved.
We hope you had as much fun as we did, and took away something meaningful too

Another fantastic course delivered!
The Human Factors and Civility team were delighted to work with the Events Team and run another wellโ€‘attended NOTTs session, with colleagues joining us from across UHT and Trusts around the region.
A huge thank you to all the candidates who took part โ€“ the open, honest conversations in the room really showed how strongly people are recognising the importance of nonโ€‘technical skills in supporting both staff wellbeing and patient safety.
And a big thank you to our facilitators, who once again brought their own skills, knowledge and understanding to the day. Your real lived experience truly brings this course to life and makes it such a powerful learning space.
๐Ÿ‘ A brilliant session โ€“ thank you all! ๐Ÿ‘
