Yesterday at Roseleigh Care Home, Middlesbrough!

We enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of Table Top Bowling, and it was a real crowd-pleaser! Residents and visiting family members all joined in 🎳

Afterwards, we slowed things down with some relaxed games of pool and snooker, giving everyone a chance to unwind and enjoy the social atmosphere. 🎱

On Monday morning, residents got competitive with a game of tricky dice, with the winner and runner-up choosing a treat from the tuck shop 🎲

In the afternoon, we enjoyed a few games of dominoes while listening and singing along to some 80s classics, a great trip down memory lane 🎶

We’ve been having lots of fun here at Roseleigh! 💛

Our residents and staff enjoyed a relaxing mindful colouring session 🎨☕ – the perfect way to unwind with a nice cup of tea.

We also had a fun-filled Friday afternoon with our Easter piñata smash! 🐣🎉

We helped our lovely resident Alwyn create a beautiful ‘Life Story’ book for her to keep and look back on 📖💖

It includes stories from her life, her favourite foods, and the little things that make her smile 😊

What have we been up to at Roseleigh Care Home?

Our residents kicked off the day with a mystery box challenge Dorothy was brilliant and guessed every single item correctly! 🎁

Then we had a surprise visit from Mr Motivator, getting everyone’s heart rate up and spirits lifted. 💪🕺

Kelly also spent some time enjoying one of our resident’s favourite pastimes, a game of chess.

Stephen proved he’s an excellent chess player, managing to get me into checkmate after just six moves! He even kindly gave her a few tips on where she went wrong… she says she need more practice!
We had to leave the game mid-play, so this is definitely a story to be continued 👀♟️
