A Special Reunion

Family isn’t just a word; it’s an entire world for many of us. The support and encouragement from family members can bring so much love and happiness to a person’s life.

Jackie who resides at Windermere Grange Care Home had a special little visitor all the way from New Zeland, this was the third time Jackie’s great granddaughter has visited the UK.

Jackie was thrilled to see her granddaughter and great granddaughter again, it is always a special reunion, her great granddaughter had grown so much since her first visit to the home and we love to see her too! 🥰🍁

Listening to music can really help improve quality of life, it can help reduce anxiety, help maintain speech and language and can have a positive impact on someone.

Residents of Windermere Grange Care Home enjoyed a sensory afternoon with the Party Boppers.

Residents awakened their senses by listening to music, feeling different materials, using the smell of lavender and seeing different coloured lights. 🎶🍁
