Here’s our amazing fundraising team rocking their purple, and now it’s your turn!

On Friday 21st November, we want to see Teesside transformed into a sea of purple to raise funds for Teesside Hospice, and here's how you can get involved:

💜 Register your workplace, school, or group on our website and get your free fundraising pack
💜 Host your purple day on Fri 21st November and wear purple, decorate, bake, or run a fun activity
💜 Collect donations from everyone taking part to support our hospice
💜 Our fundraising team will come and collect your donations after your event, making it super easy!

Whether it’s wigs, socks, suits, or sparkly accessories, we are asking you to go all out and show off your best purple looks!

Thank you so much to everyone who was involved with the Mooch with your Pooch event on Sunday! It was such a great day and we couldn't be more grateful for your support 💜

🌟 All 60 humans and 45 dogs who came on the day (We couldn't be more thrilled at the turnout!)

Everyone's support truly means the world - not just to us, but to all of those we are able to help because of you. It is events like this that not only create a great day out for you, but also provide essential support to those facing terminal illness.

Supporter Spotlight! 💜

On the 5th September, Data Scientist and Binding Solutions’ chief fundraiser, Mathew Marron, organised a quiz and raffle in aid of Teesside Hospice, their nominated charity of choice for 2025!

Mathew’s event was an amazing success, with the team needing to add chairs from another room to accommodate all of the people who supported the event! Over the course of the evening, a huge £838.50 was raised, taking the total amount that BSL has fundraised for Teesside Hospice this year up to £2,900!

Thank you so much to Matthew and the team for continuing to go above and beyond to support our care, we couldn't do what we do without companies like yours 🤝

We understand all too well how difficult it is to experience Christmas without our loved ones.

And in turn, we also know how important someone’s last Christmas is, which is why we go above and beyond to help our patients feel comfortable, safe and cared for. ✨

Light Up A Life returns this year, as we aim to bring the community together to remember our loved ones and also shine a light on the support we offer throughout the festive season. By making a dedication of £25, you can fund an hour of specialist nursing care for a patient this Christmas.

Light Up A Life helps us to reflect on our most precious memories, and light up the sky to pay tribute to those who are no longer with us. When you make a dedication to a loved one, you’ll receive a dedication card which will be placed on our outdoor Christmas tree, as well as your own to display at home. You’ll also be invited to attend one of our Light Up A Life services.

When 15-year-old Rafael was looking to do more with his weekends and gain new skills, he turned to volunteering. Now, after a year of volunteering in our charity shop, he says he’s built his confidence and met some great friends. 💜

Ever since a bite from his kitten triggered his condition in 2013, Craig has been a long-standing patient of our Lymphoedema Clinic.

Now, he attends the clinic for intensive treatment and check-ups, and despite the toll it can take on him physically, he always looks forward to his appointments thanks to the kindness and compassion of our wonderful team. 💜
