📣📣Patient update regarding the prescribing of weight loss injections 📣📣

Parkway Medical Center remains fully committed to supporting patients in their weight loss journey.

We will shortly commence the scheduling of appointments for patients who meet the eligibility criteria for Mounjaro (weight loss injection), as outlined by the government’s official guidelines.

At this time, we kindly ask that patients do not contact the surgery to request these appointments. The eligibility criteria are stringent, and over the course of the next 2 to 3 years, patients will be invited to attend the surgery in a phased manner based on these criteria.
Please be advised that our reception team has been instructed not to book any appointments related to this service until the relevant staff members have completed the necessary training to ensure the highest standard of care.

We will contact eligible patients directly in the coming weeks to arrange appointments. If you do not receive communication from us, please understand that you do not currently meet the criteria, although you may be considered in subsequent phases.
