🎄✨ Wishing all of our wonderful patients a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Thank you for trusting us with your care throughout the year — it truly means the world to our team.

As the festive period can be busy, please remember to order any repeat prescriptions in good time to ensure you don’t run out.

We hope your Christmas is filled with warmth, joy, and good health, and we look forward to welcoming you again in the year ahead.

As you are aware we are an accredited IRIS practice and we are passionate about supporting Victims/Survivors of domestic abuse.

We also recognise that many NHS staff are themselves Victims/Survivors. Today marks the first NHS domestic abuse awareness day and our staff will be wearing white ribbons to support this awareness campaign. All staff in this practice are trained about domestic abuse and a specialist worker is available to provide support if needed.

You can talk to any staff working here. 💜
You can also contact my sisters place on 01642 241864 and ask to speak to an IRISi advocate educator. Below are some links for further info

💛 Supporting Dottie’s Room Today at James Cook Hospital! 💛

Our receptionist Chloe is running a stall at James Cook Hospital today to raise funds and awareness for Dottie’s Room, a special bereavement suite she funded for parents following baby loss, inspired by her own experience.

Through her dedication and hard work, she has already raised an incredible £36,000, making a real difference by creating this comforting space for grieving families. She continues to champion this vital cause, helping even more parents when they need it most.

If you’re at the hospital today, please pop by the stall, say hello, and support this meaningful initiative. Every donation and show of support makes a real difference 💛

🎀 Breast screening open day at North Tees Hospital 🎀

We know it can feel a bit daunting — especially when you’re trying to work out where on earth to put your arms. 😄But don’t worry… the team has quite literally seen every shape, size and style of breast you can imagine. You’re in very experienced hands — nothing you do or say will surprise them!
Your appointment might include a gentle check, a chat about any symptoms, or imaging — whatever you need, they'll explain everything step by step.

A few minutes of mild awkwardness = a big dose of peace of mind.
You’ve got this — and they've got you. 💗

🌟 Proud Sponsors of Middlesbrough Roller Hockey Club 🏑❤️

We’re thrilled to support the Middlesbrough Roller Hockey Team and champion a sport that promotes children’s physical and mental wellbeing. Hockey builds confidence, resilience, and community—and we’re proud to stand behind such a fantastic team.

This sponsorship sits alongside the ongoing work we do to support healthy lifestyles. We have been a Parkrun Practice in partnership with Stewart Parkrun for some time, encouraging our patients and our wider community to stay active. Regular exercise has huge benefits for both physical and mental health, and we’re committed to helping people of all ages move more and feel better.

Here’s to teamwork, wellbeing, and making a positive difference on and off the pitch and the park! 💪✨
Well done Middlesbrough Roller Hockey Club👏👏

🚗 Important Parking Update for Parkway Medical Centre Patients

Effective: Monday 17th November

Our car park will now use a new Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system, installed by the property management company, to help keep parking spaces available for our patients—especially during the upcoming construction of the new nursing home opposite Tesco.

Here’s what you need to know:
✅ Enter your vehicle registration number at the reception machine on arrival.
✅ Once entered, your registration is valid throughout your current visit—even if you go to the pharmacy—unless you leave and re-enter the car park.

We understand this may feel inconvenient, but it’s necessary to ensure our patients always have access to parking. Our staff will be happy to assist if needed. The machine is located next to the Self check in desk pictured.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. 💙

📣 Important Parking Update for Parkway Medical Centre Patients

You may have noticed that a new ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) system has been installed in our car park.

This system has been introduced by the property management company, to help ensure that our limited parking spaces remain available for patients, especially once construction begins on the new nursing home opposite Tesco. It will help prevent construction workers from using the spaces allocated to our visitors.

🚗 Please note:
The system is not yet live for Parkway Medical Centre— we will notify you as soon as it becomes active.

Once live, if you expect your visit to last longer than 45 minutes, please enter your vehicle registration number at reception.

You are also welcome to enter your registration as a precaution, even for shorter visits.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep parking accessible for our patients.

A little bit of background......

Welcome. Generally speaking we are a family run surgery. Sure not in the strictest of terms but that’s certainly how it feels. Dr Beeby first started the surgery as a one man band way back in 1982 ! A long time ago ! We started in very humble beginnings in a small building in Hollowfield Square. Slowly but surely our popularity began to grow and we had outgrown the old small surgery and moved to our new fancy building that we are still in to this day !

Doctors and staff have arrived and left but on the whole when people come they tend to stay.. and the same can be said for our patients. A few of our reception staff have been with us for over 10 years, a couple are pushing 20 years so that’s some experience that has been built up between them. The rest are a mixture of newer members and those that are getting towards the testimonial mark. As for GP’s we have a solid base of GP’s who have been with us for a number of years and some new fresh blood that have started more recently.

We strive on being a flexible practice that tries to offer the best service that we can ! We will always have the patients best interests at heart with every decision we make.

So come along, join in the fun and make yourself feel part of the Parkway family........
