🧠💼 Have your say on WorkWell – a new service to help you stay well and stay in work!

WorkWell is designed to support people with health problems in the North East and North Cumbria to:

✅ Stay in work
✅ Get back to work

We know that more people in our region are out of work due to poor health than in many other parts of the country. WorkWell aims to change that — and your views can help shape it.

📢 Take our short survey before 3rd November and share it with others:

🧠 World Mental Health Day – 10 October 🧠
This year’s theme, set by the World Federation for Mental Health, is:
“Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies: Access to Services.”

Poor mental health is not inevitable. Today is a chance for us all to talk openly about mental health and reflect on how we can support one another.

💬 Everyone deserves access to mental health support – no matter what they’re going through.
🌍 Let’s work together to ensure mental health services are available, especially in times of crisis.

🎉 Dyslexia Awareness Week 2025 kicks off Monday 6 October!
📢 This year’s theme is “Raise the Volume” – and we’re turning up the dial on the voices of young people with dyslexia.

Their stories, their challenges, their triumphs — it’s time to make sure they’re heard loud and clear in schools, families, workplaces, and beyond.

Let’s celebrate their resilience and amplify their experiences. 💬💪

🌿 We hosted our third Health & Wellbeing event at Hemlington Lake & Recreation Centre — bringing together local services to support the community.

A big shoutout to Teesvalley Together who showcased their Eco Shop, where just £2 goes a long way! We handed out vouchers so residents could see for themselves.

Great conversations, practical support, and a strong sense of community 💚
