💚Have Your Say: Help Shape the Future of ISVA Support in Cleveland

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cleveland has launched a service user survey to better understand the experiences and needs of those affected by sexual violence.

Your insights will directly inform the commissioning of the Independent Sexual Violence Adviser (ISVA) service across Cleveland.

Every response helps ensure services are accessible, effective, and truly meet the needs of survivors.

If you are currently accessing support or have done so in the past, your view matters.

🕐 Survey closes: 10th March

🌿 March is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.
Right now, only 3 in 10 women diagnosed with ovarian cancer will live beyond 10 years.
That’s unacceptable.

With 7,500 women receiving an ovarian cancer diagnosis in the UK every year, we urgently need faster progress, better research, and earlier diagnosis.

Together, we can work toward a future where ovarian cancer is survivable for all women.

Joe attended the Recovery Connections Ally training this morning, held at The Venue, on Linthorpe Road. The training was really engaging and informative, combining powerful lived-experience stories with clear theory and practical examples. It offered a strong understanding of how to provide effective support for people in recovery.

This was a truly beneficial training that highlighted the wide range of challenges people can face and reinforced how, as a community, we can make a real difference
