I’m excited to introduce my new Chinese Wind GONG to you! 🍃 See it in action at Monthly Medi next week - tickets at www.marnieyoga.com

The gong is one of the oldest man made sounds, dating back over 5,000 years, playing an important role in healing and ceremonies. The gongs sounds and vibrations have a quick effect on the brain and body. They move us from our awake (Beta) state to a more relaxed and calm (Alpha) state, then on to a restful (Theta) state and finally to a deeply relaxing meditative (Delta) state. Scientific evidence has found that Sound Meditation helps reduce tension, anger, fatigue, anxiety and depression while increasing a sense of spiritual well-being. Just a few great reasons to come along to our Marnie Yoga Monthly Medi to soak up the healing vibrations from the gong and singing bowls!
