We enjoyed a lovely outing to Morrisons this morning 🛒

In the afternoon, we made the most of the sunshine with some time spent relaxing in the garden ☀️🌿

A simple but lovely day of getting out and enjoying fresh air and company ❤️

We recently celebrated Ken’s 90th birthday with a wonderful party surrounded by friends! 🎂

We’ve also been making the most of the lovely weather with a fun day in the garden, enjoying sunshine, ice pops and plenty of smiles ☀️🍦

Later, we enjoyed a cosy movie afternoon with hot chocolate and sweet treats while relaxing together 🎬☕🍬

This morning we enjoyed some flower painting using cotton buds, helping residents practise their fine motor skills while getting creative 🎨🌸

Later in the day, we headed out for a shopping trip, which everyone really enjoyed 🛍️

Birthdays, VE Day and lots of games!

We’ve had a fantastic few days at Longlands Care Home ❤️

We started the weekend with early birthday celebrations for our lovely Joan, who turned 90 🎂

We then celebrated VE Day with wartime songs, karaoke and a delicious buffet tea 🇬🇧🎶

Today has been packed full of fun activities, including What’s Inside the Box?, dice games, Penny Pincher and a brilliant visit from the fantastic Mr Motivator 💪

Residents at Longlands Care Home enjoyed a fun and active morning packed with exercise and friendly competition! 💪🎉

From our exercise class using foam noodles to a hula hoop competition and a game of Higher or Lower, there was plenty of laughter, movement, and teamwork throughout the morning.

Activities like these are a great way to keep both minds and bodies active while bringing everyone together socially.
