Its time of year again.......our HBZ Halloween Hobby Horse Show for all our participants, family & Friends. - 25th Oct 11.00am Camp fire and marshmallows approx 1.30pm

Relaxed fun for everyone. Its free to come along and enjoy the fun.

Entry to the Hobby Horse jumping is £10 for EVERYTHING, as many goes as you want. We'll also have our family gymkhana again so get the parents practising!!

Refreshments on site, prizes for all participants and something special for best fancy dress. As always there'll be some quiet spaces available and the ponies to say hello to.

Everyone at Parklands is just so excited and proud of Joshua Hoskins for winning the BBC Make a difference fundraiser award. Josh is truly inspirationanal, he makes us smile everyday and has done so much to support charities including ourselves. Huge congratulations to Josh and his family as their support is invaluable.

After a lovely holiday it's been a busy weekend at Moira craft fair. Back today with our hobby horse jumps raising money for the rda. We also have the lovely shire Bonnie next door!

We have plenty of 2025 honey available. All from our own hives. Natural honey, simply filtered and jarred £5.50 227g or 2 for £10. We also have beeswax candles, massage bars and body lotion - all cosmetically tested and handmade on the farm. Funds go back into running our care farm

I saw a child who couldn't walk
Sit on a horse, laugh and talk.
Then ride it through a field of daisies
And yet he could not walk unaided.
How lovely is this poem :-

I saw a child no legs below
Sit on a horse and make it go
Through wood of green and places he had never been
to sit and stare, except from a chair.
I saw a child who could only crawl
Mount a horse and sit up tall;
Then put it through degrees of paces
And laugh at the wonder on our faces.
I saw a child born into strife,
Take up and hold the reins of life
And that same child was heard to say,
'Thank God for showing me the way'.
