This time last year, we had no idea how busy our first full year would be.
We said yes to everything, worked incredibly hard — and by the end of it, we felt the toll.
Being ill just after Christmas and cancelling our New Year plans forced us to slow down. Thanks to our son, we still had fireworks at home — a quieter but meaningful end to the year.
What we’ve learned is that balance doesn’t come from planning — you have to live through it to understand it.
This year, we’ll be getting more help, creating more space, and protecting the balance that lets us enjoy what we’ve built.
