Unplugging from technology, even briefly, has significant mental and physical health benefits; reduced stress/anxiety, better sleep(less blue light disruption) improved focus and creativity, stronger real life connections and much needed physical activity. 📚🏊🏼‍♀️🪁🚴🏻‍♀️🎳🏓So as the week comes to a close, lets find creative ways of digital detox, be it with our families, with our Service Users or alone. ❄️Cold Weather Alert – Keeping You Safe This Winter ❄️

Very cold weather is forecast, and at Divine HomeCare Solutions our priority is always the safety and wellbeing of the people we support. 💙

We are taking extra steps during this cold spell to keep our service users safe, comfortable and well:

✅ Ensuring homes are heated to a safe temperature (aiming for at least 18°C where possible)
✅ Encouraging plenty of warm layers and blankets
✅ Checking that windows and doors are closed to keep the heat in
✅ Scheduling regular check‑ins and welfare calls, especially for those who may be more vulnerable
✅Adverse Weather and Health Action Plans for our people

Cold weather can have serious consequences for health, particularly for older people, young children and those with long‑term health conditions. Our dedicated team is , going the extra mile to make sure no one is left cold, isolated or at risk.

🌟 Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Training 🌟

At Divine Training Academy, we had an incredible two-day session focused on understanding our service users and supporting them in the best possible way.

We explored:
✅ Understanding individuals with Autism and Learning Disabilities
✅ Recognising trigger points and using the Red Behaviour Scale to respond safely for both staff and service users
✅ Promoting positive engagement through the Green Behaviour Scale
✅ Introducing meaningful activities to improve quality of life and promote independence
