Arthritis prevention isn’t about doing everything right.
It’s about doing small things consistently, and adjusting as you learn more.

That might look like:
• Mixing up walks instead of repeating the same high-impact games
• Limiting repetitive ball throwing (even just a bit)
• Building strength with slow, controlled movement
• Keeping weight steady, not perfect
• Letting rest days be part of the plan
• Using ramps, mats, or rugs where slipping happens
• Noticing subtle changes early and acting sooner

None of these need to be dramatic. But over time, they add up.

And if you want guidance on supporting joints early - without pressure or guilt - our Young Dog Joint Care course breaks this down into simple, realistic steps you can actually stick to.

Progress beats perfection. Every time 🐾

We’ll never promise miracles. And that’s on purpose.

As an ethical company, we won’t ever say our joint products will definitely help your dog.
Because no supplement can honestly make that guarantee, and if they do then I really would question their integrity. Every dog is different, and bodies don’t work on absolutes.

What we can say is this:

We don’t believe in pumping dogs full of sky high doses of just one or two ingredients and calling it “advanced joint support”.

Real joint health is complex.
So instead of betting everything on massive amounts of a few popular actives, we focus on covering more bases , supporting joints from multiple angles with a broader, thoughtfully balanced formulation that works synergistically.

That means:
• Supporting cartilage, connective tissue and inflammation
• Sensible, safe levels, not shock doses
• Ingredients chosen to work together, not compete
• Formulas designed for long term use, not quick marketing wins

We’d rather be honest than loud.
Transparent than trendy.
And ethical over exaggerated, always.

Because your dog deserves integrity, not hype 🐶

How you exercise your puppy matters more than you might think 🐶🦴

Young dogs’ joints are still developing, and the type, intensity and repetition of exercise they do early on can influence their joint health later in life.

From walks and play, to jumping, stairs and structured exercise - getting it right isn’t always obvious.

That’s why we’ve created a collection of clear, practical videos covering how to exercise puppies and young dogs safely and appropriately 👇

Small choices early on can make a big difference later 💙

🐾 Nail maintenance is super important for all our cats and dogs, but especially those with joint issues 🐾

Long nails can subtly alter a dog’s posture and gait, increasing strain on their joints - especially the toes, wrists, and shoulders.
Even a few extra millimetres can push the toes upward, shifting weight distribution and forcing compensatory movement patterns. Over time, this micro-change adds up to increased joint stress and discomfort.

The good news?
This is one of the easiest prevention wins you can make. ✨
Keeping nails trimmed to an appropriate length is a simple but powerful arthritis-prevention strategy.

✔️ Keep nails trimmed to a healthy length
✔️ Listen for “clicking” on hard floors
✔️ Ask your vet or groomer for support if you’re unsure
✔️ Stay consistent - little and often is better than big, infrequent trims

Small details matter. Nail care isn’t just cosmetic - it’s a long-term joint health strategy. 💙

✨🐾 Laser Therapy Helps Pets Heal 🐾✨

Laser therapy uses focused light energy to pe*****te the skin and stimulate cells at the treatment site. This light boosts circulation, increases cellular energy, and triggers the body’s natural healing response.

🔴 Reduces pain and inflammation
⚡ Speeds tissue repair and healing
🐕 Improves mobility and comfort

It’s gentle, non-invasive, and often very relaxing for pets. Whether your animal is recovering from surgery, injury, or managing arthritis, laser therapy can help them get back to feeling their best.

📩 Ask your vet or physio if laser therapy is right for your pet

🐾 Lovely old fella George is rocking his new dry robe! 🐾

🌊 After a hydrotherapy session, your dog’s muscles are warm, worked, and also relaxed 💧

That’s exactly why keeping them warm after they leave the centre is so important.

A drying coat helps:
• Prevent chills as wet fur cools quickly
• Support muscle recovery and reduce stiffness
• Absorb moisture while maintaining body heat
• Keep your dog comfortable and relaxed post-session
• Helps dry their coat on the way home and saves your car from wet shakes!

Whether your dog is recovering from injury, managing arthritis, or building strength, a warm, dry finish helps protect all the hard work they’ve just done. A drying coat isn’t just a comfort—it’s part of their recovery routine. 🐶🧡

Because warm muscles heal better. Ask us about our dry robes we have in stock from stellarpetproducts. Great quality AND cost effective! ❤️‍🩹

🐾 Albert has been the most wonderful little boy, full of character and fun! He’s not been the biggest fan of hydrotherapy but certainly enjoyed the spa after his session! Albert had a double femoral head and neck excision surgery due to Legg-Perthes disease. His recovery has been incredible thanks to his team of vets, nurses and of course his dedicated owner! Albert has now been signed off to enjoy his life in the Fen. Well done Albert ❤️🐾

🐾 GIANT welcome to Dinky…. Who clearly isn’t very dinky 😂🐾

Dinky joins us for hydrotherapy to help strengthen his hind legs due to lumbosacral stenosis. Disc degeneration causes nerves at the base of the spine to become compressed, causing weakness in the hind limbs, lameness and pain. Working with his vet who has provided great pain control, we can now help maintain and build some muscle to keep him feeling stronger for longer 💪

❄️ Snow days are better with dogs ❄️🐾
Zoomies in fresh powder, frosty noses, and pawprints everywhere. Watching them discover snow like it’s brand new every time is pure joy. Who else has a pup that turns into a snow-loving goof the moment flakes start falling? 🐶☃️

🍁Lovely girl Maple loved seeing the snow this week! ☃️
