There's nothing more satisfying than a client achieving the goals/outcomes of their care plan, which is exactly what the lovely 'L' is doing day after day.

Combating loneliness, remaining social and participating in all of the things she enjoys doing remains paramount to 'L's" well-being, and as you can see by the smile on her face she really enjoyed her support visit and being out in her community with staff 🩷

With temperatures rising and extreme weather events like heatwaves occurring more frequently, we would like to hear from you about how climate change is affecting people with epilepsy.

Does hot weather trigger more frequent or severe seizures?
Are your living conditions making the heat harder to manage?
How does the heat affect your wellbeing—and how do you cope?

Professor Sanjay Sisodiya, who is leading research into how climate change affects people with epilepsy, has created a survey which takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. Your answers will be invaluable in building a clearer picture of what people with epilepsy face during extreme weather and will help guide efforts to improve safety during adverse weather events and ensure you have the best possible seizure control.
