From today, 11 December 2025, we're asking that all visitors and staff in clinical and patient-facing areas wear a face mask to help limit the spread of respiratory viruses.

The number of cases of respiratory viruses within hospitals, and our broader community, is increasing at a steady rate. All staff, regardless of their role, will be required to wear a surgical mask (unless other personal protective equipment (PPE) has been advised) when in clinical areas or interacting with patients.

Visitors will also be required to wear a mask in clinical areas, including to appointments on hospital and community sites.

Signposted over the years (and often successfully) many of our patients to apply but we’re still surprised how many people are not aware or informed about this financial support to remain well and independent.
Please share to those who might want or need to know more about it or contact the local Citizens Advice office or your County Council for assistance or guidance. Some localcharities, Age UK or some NHS community services can also assist if needed.

Great first day at the Pembrokeshire County Show and our premiere event for Physiofit West Wales Ltd and the Wellness card at such a show with several other colleagues in health and wellbeing.

Met a variety of people, including some healthy political interest in local small businesses, working within health and wellbeing by e.g. Mrs Eluned Morgan.

The team are looking forward to meeting more people tomorrow at the Cottage Reflexology Wellbeing Marque as well as doing a bit of scrolling around on the show. 👍🙌

We’re pleased and proud to be one of the sponsors of this amazing Haverfordwest High VC School Rugby trip to South Africa.

35 talented boys from Year 11, 12 & 13 already had an amazing school rugby year, becoming 6th Form Welsh School Champions.
Many Year 11 pupils also played an amazing Pembs School County rugby winning the prestigious Cledyyf Glyndwr Sword and 7 out of 8 wins in the Welsh School County Rugby Cup becoming overall 5th in the Welsh Dewar Shield.

This led to several boys being consequently selected for the Scarlets U16s West Academy winning all their 4 trial games against other Welsh Regional Acedamy teams.
This after the current HHVC Year 11 became runners up with a very close game last year in the Year 10 Welsh School Final in the Cardiff Principality Stadium.

Hard work always pays off in many ways and its an absolute crown on their hard work, commitment and dedication over the past 2 years leading up to this school trip with great support of all involved including school-, club- & WRU coaches, teachers and parents / guardians.

The boys celebrated today a confident win in their first game with 62-0 against a local SA High School 6th Form team.
Chapeau 💪🏉.

We hope the team and support staff will continue to have an amazing and unforgettable experience over the next 2 weeks.

It’s not always easy joining a gym - many people feel anxious or unsure, let alone when living with Parkinson’s. But at 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬, we’re more than just a gym - we’re a community club where everyone is welcomed and supported.

Week by week, our members have built not only strength and mobility, but also confidence, connection and community.

Our Parkinson’s Strength Group, funded by Parkinson’s UK, continues to grow - and the benefits are clear:
