Obituary notice for the late Ian Shadforth.

On Sunday 3rd August, suddenly at home, Ian aged 60 years of Newton Terrace, Millom. Son of the late Pauline Shadforth, devoted dad of Rhys, loving brother of Joanne and Karen, supportive nephew, cousin, amazing uncle and great uncle and a fantastic friend to many.
The funeral service will be held on Friday 22nd August at 11am at St George's Church, Millom followed by burial within Millom Cemetery.

Important information for those attending the funeral of John ('Ian') Brockbank:

We are aware of scheduled roadworks on the A595 at Duddon Bridge tomorrow. Following a discussion with Westmorland & Furness Highways, they have confirmed that the road will be closed from 9.30am to 1.00pm only and therefore the works will be complete in time for those travelling to the crematorium.
