📚✏️ Back to School in Cumbria! ✏️📚

It’s almost that time again, next week our schools will be welcoming students back for a brand-new term! We hope everyone has had a fantastic summer and is ready for an exciting year ahead. 🌟

As part of keeping our children healthy this winter, flu vaccines will be offered in schools soon. The nasal spray vaccine is a quick and easy way to protect your child against flu and help prevent it spreading in the community.

✅ Look out for the consent forms from your child’s school and return them promptly.
✅ For more information about the flu vaccine for children, visit the NHS website or speak to your GP Surgery.

Let’s work together to keep our schools happy, healthy, and ready for learning! 📖🍎

Protect your child against HPV-related cancers 💉

There are many strains of the human papillomavirus (HPV). Some are high-risk and can lead to cancers such as cervical, pe**le, and a**l cancer later in life.

That’s why the NHS offers the HPV vaccine to boys and girls aged 12 to 13, to protect them before they’re ever exposed to the virus.

The vaccine is safe, effective, and gives long-lasting protection. It’s one of the best ways to help keep your child healthy in the future.

✅ Make sure they don’t miss out.
