So you’re ready to lift 70kg 💪 Amazing! What weights are you putting on the bar. This may sound like a strange question, but don’t forget your school maths!

Bar (20kg) + 2 x 25kg plates = 70kg
Bar (20kg) + 2 x 15kg and 2 x 10kg plates = 70kg
Bar (20kg) + 4 x 10kg and 2 x 5kg plates = 70kg

You get the idea.

I find the 25kg plates a bit awkward to lift around. 🫣 And to be honest, I avoid using them unless I really need to. This is a heavy weight for most people. My preference is to use smaller plates- much easier to get on and off the bar- and less chance of hurting your back in the process. 😬

Remember the total weight still adds up to the same! Go lift heavy 🏋️‍♀️ but do it safely. Good luck and have fun!✌️
