We are delighted to welcome Penny Kay as the latest practitioner to join our growing clinic. She is a highly skilled and experienced acupuncturist, qualified to Masters level in professional practice.



Penny is an optimistic and enthusiastic clinician and patients comment on her warm, empathetic response to a range of physical conditions and emotional wellbeing issues. She works from the traditional Chinese acupuncture perspective and integrates her coaching expertise to provide every patient with an excellent and individual service.



Penny is a member of the Association of Acupuncture Clinicians and licensed with South Lakeland District Council. She qualified after three years of study at the Northern College of Acupuncture and has been working as an acupuncturist since 2013 - holding licences in Manchester, Salford and Lancaster. She is also a qualified executive coach with 25 years experience. This combination of skills provides patients with a unique blend of deep listening and expert treatment. Further to the latest announcements, we can confirm that the physiotherapy clinic is still open.

We are having to operate very differently at the moment and our physio’s are spending a lot more time doing extra administration.

As we have to leave gaps between patients, and spend a lot of time on the telephone, our throughput is slower.

It would be helpful if you could contact us by email on clinic@physio-sportsinjuries.co.uk , with your full name, contact phone numbers and a brief description of your condition for which you are seeking our help.

We will then contact you to carry out a triage assessment prior to being able to see you.
