We have really enjoyed welcoming your birth companions overnight on our wards and appreciate how much this supports you 🥰 Please can we politely remind those staying overnight of our 'code of conduct'. This is to maintain safety and respect for our patients and staff.

🤞We are currently trying to obtain funds to purchase recliner armchairs for each bedside to enhance comfort of those staying on the wards.

❗️️If you are unable to follow our 'code of conduct' (link below), you will be asked to leave.

You are not a burden, you are not being a nuisance. Your midwife and maternity unit are there for YOU and your baby! If you notice any change in your baby's movements contact them immediately, however many times it happens.
