Hello all, the practice will be closing at 2.30pm today and reopening at 8am tomorrow morning. Appointment availability is therefore halved today, please be prepared to attend the Urgent Care Centre if your symptoms are urgent. Your local pharmacy and NHS 111 are also available to help.

☀️ Avoid the Sun (11am – 3pm)
Stay indoors during the hottest part of the day.

🏃‍♂️ Plan Physical Activities Wisely
Exercise or walk your dog in the morning or evening when it’s cooler.

🏠 Keep Your Home Cool
Close windows and curtains in sun-facing rooms.

🧢 Protect Yourself Outdoors
Wear a hat and sunglasses, seek shade, and apply sunscreen.

💧 Stay Hydrated
Drink plenty of fluids and limit alcohol.

❤️ Check on Others
Stay in touch with family, friends, and neighbours, especially if they’re elderly, young, or have health conditions.
