We were honoured to celebrate a milestone 100th birthday this week, surrounded by family and friends and plenty of cake. The highlight of the afternoon was a rendition of "Happy Birthday" by a special member of staff on his electric flute, which had everyone full of smiles.

Those living with us enjoyed baking all our sweet delights ready for Mother's Day this month. We made delicious chocolate cupcakes, a Victoria sponge, and a lemon drizzle cake. We recently added the 'Daisy Award' to our home. This award is an appreciation acknowledgement to a staff member for their constant hard work and going the extra mile.

Our Holi festival of colour was as vibrant as could be!

Those living with us printed our shirts with bright coloured paints and splattered them with powder. We hosted various colour organising game, which encouraged coordination and friendly competition. Traditional music echoed through the decorated lounge, and goals were set in our straw art segment.

To celebrate Cornish Pasty Week, those living with us put their cooking skills to use by making homemade Cornish pasties. These savoury delights were then baked ready for supper for everyone to proudly enjoy their creations. Those living with us enjoyed More...Fresh Air on our morning walk around Kents Hill. We were lucky enough to have the beautiful sun shining. We took peaceful walks around Kents Hill, taking in the scenery. A group of us then had some lovely time in the garden, working together to complete a crossword.
