Reiki and why I love it.
Reiki may sound “new age” to some, but it’s anything but new. In fact, it’s a form of energy healing with roots in ancient cultures. Reiki uses what’s known as universal life force energy—ki or qi—to improve people’s lives and ailments (V.Clayton, 2024).
The term “reiki” comes from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” which means vital life force energy that flows through all living things. Some practitioners describe reiki as acupuncture without the needles.
As a reiki practitioner i’m always amazed by what I feel and see when I provide Reiki - as I go along the treatment I combine my spiritual skills and reiki receiving messages from spirit guiding me on where I need to provide healing.
In the last year I’ve helped people with physical pain, grief from loss, abuse and cheating, as well as picking up 2.5 ovarian growth.
At times I’m also very shocked about what I pick up/or given equally are my clients.
No 2 sessions are the same.
Reiki is a complementary health approach in which i place my hands on or just above different areas of the body. It’s based on an Eastern medicine belief that living beings have energy fields that support their health and vitality.
Reiki is not a replacement of modern medicine but a way of working hand in hand.
Did you know???
Energy blocks, impede innate flow of energy, causing not only health problems, but also negative life circumstances like financial troubles or relationship problems, according to belief. Energy blocks of any living being can be treated, according to belief, which is why some practitioners also work on animals and plants. As a Reiki practitioner I focus on sensing energy blocks and moving the energy for the greatest good of the client.
