Four of Cups

The card we call the boredom card, but it often is more than that.
A feeling of detachment and a struggle to connect with anything that could be exciting and fun can be the problem here.
Anything that others are happy about or are trying to get you interested in is just not working.

Apathy is a better description of this state of mind. The problem is, that if you let it take over, you will miss all the chances of anything getting better, because you dismiss them straightaway.
You have a lot going on and a lot going for you, but if you indulge in discontent and a dose of self pity, you won’t be able to see any of those things.

Remember this is a card-of-the-day energy and a bit of funk should pass relatively quickly. If this has gone on for longer than maybe you are actually dealing with depression.
If that is the case, please seek professional help.
There is no shame in that and will help you turn things round.

Try to remember this when social media shows us nothing but apparently exciting lives. It's an illusion, nothing is always exciting and wonderful and that's just fine.

Most of life is not made of huge moments. It is made of ordinary mornings, repeated routines, quiet evenings, familiar faces, and small choices that seem unimportant while they are happening.

A peaceful cup of tea. A walk after a long day. A message from someone who cares. A deep breath after anxiety passes. The comfort of coming home. These are not interruptions to life. They are life.

Many people spend years waiting to finally feel happy: after success, after more money, after the perfect relationship, after everything becomes easier.

But life does not happen only during milestones. It quietly unfolds in the spaces between them.

If you only allow yourself joy during rare extraordinary moments, you may spend most of your years emotionally absent from your own life.

Real peace begins when you stop treating ordinary days as something to “get through.” The simple days are the majority of your existence. Learn to notice them. Learn to appreciate them. Learn to be present inside them.

Because one day you will realize that the little moments you overlooked were actually the big moments all along.

Happiness is rarely loud. Most of the time, it arrives softly.

I have said it do often, but it needs saying.
Humans are often bad at adapting to change, yet the one constant in our lives is exactly that… change!
We go through the seasons, we age, we change our opinions, even the way we look and so does everyone and everything else.
Make peace with that!

Today try going with the flow. Rather than trying to influence and control everything in your world, try working with things coming your way rather than against.
