With snow forecast for Milton Keynes and Bedford tomorrow, we’d like to reassure both our service users and staff that safety is our top priority.

Our care teams are planning ahead for colder conditions and will continue to provide essential care where it is safe to do so. We kindly ask service users and families to ensure pathways are as clear as possible and homes are kept warm.

There are plenty of opportunities across Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes that are great for staying connected, active and involved:

🧠 Join a social group or craft session at local community centres like Cauldwell Community Centre, Addison Centre or Wootton Community Centre in Bedford — many host coffee mornings, games, arts & crafts, and social events for older adults. 

☕ In Milton Keynes, Age UK Milton Keynes runs regular activities and events for seniors, from friendly meet-ups to social clubs and classes. 

🚶‍♀️ There are also free ways to get out and about — like gentle walking groups, reading and knitting sessions, or simply exploring beautiful local spots like parks and libraries (check your local community centre listings for event details).
