Day 17 of my advent…

Each day I’m torn between two or three messages but this is the one that won today’s tussle.

It is so easy to be completely photographically absent from the whole thing when you’re busy - but really you must stop and allow the memory to be felt but also to be captured.

Our brains cannot keep it all but our camera rolls can… and our heart will be eternally grateful one day.

(And how we think we look is only an illusion in a moment of time, it will not matter a jot when viewed with eyes that seek love and remembering.)

Hello friends,
I realise so much sadness is felt at this time of year, especially in countries having shorter daylight hours and cold climates. But added to this we have the media constantly streaming the worst kind of news 24/7.
So, a gentle reminder that you have control over what you watch and read, we need to balance the energy in this world, so if you feel you're being depressed, angered or just overwhelmed by people or news, before bed, try to focus on something that makes you smile, brings you joy or peace. We cannot help everyone, and its ok to create a little world of joy for yourself, its not selfish or unkind.
