The Dolphin Newport Pagnell recently asked people to tag a local charity or cause they could support for a month and so many of you tagged us, along with the most lovely messages about who we are and why our work matters. That alone meant the world 💜

Thanks to you, The Dolphin Newport Pagnell has chosen Mental Health Cleaning as their chosen cause for March 🥳🥳 and this is the first time we’ve ever received support that is like this.

I spoke to the manager Megan today and felt so inspired by her. From her own lived experiences, she has chosen to turn struggles into kindness, community and giving back. It’s so often the people who’ve been through things who truly understand and want to help.

The Dolphin Newport Pagnell is more than just a pub - it’s a community hub. They support local businesses, charities, and causes like ours, and provide a safe, welcoming space for those who need it 💜. Their staff are even trained in areas like mental health and domestic abuse, which is incredible.

We are so honoured to be their chosen cause for March 💜🥰

March Charity of the Month 💙

We’re very excited to announce that our March Charity of the Month is Mental Health Cleaning 🧹✨

These absolute legends support people who are struggling with their mental health by helping with something that can feel completely overwhelming — cleaning and resetting their homes. And here’s the bit that really gets us… the cleaning is done completely FREE 💙

Every single person involved is a volunteer, taking zero wages, giving their time, energy, and compassion purely to help others. Every penny raised goes straight back into supporting the people they’re helping — no fluff, no fuss, just real support where it’s needed most 🧼

We’re genuinely thrilled to be supporting such an amazing team this March. So every drink you buy, every visit you make, and every bit of support you show is helping Mental Health Cleaning carry on doing what they do best — helping people feel human again.

so naturally, we thought we’d cleanse the past too 😌

For £10, make a donation and we’ll:
🧼 Name a particularly stubborn bit of dirt, grime, or mess after your ex
🧽 Scrub it away with extra satisfaction
🧹 Symbolically remove them from existence (via bleach, elbow grease & closure)
🪣 Disinfect it into non-existence

Reading this had me in tears.

We get to know each and everyone person we help.

This is her truth, written with such honesty and courage and it perfectly shows the woman she is... brave, open and doing her absolute best while carrying so much 🫂

Reaching out took enormous strength. Letting people see your home when you’re struggling, when shame is loud and overwhelming, is one of the hardest things to do.

She is truly incredible 🥹💜

To live with multiple physical and mental health challenges, to grieve the person you once were and still keep going - that is not failure. That is survival. And her words are such a powerful reminder of how many people are quietly battling the same feelings behind closed doors.

Being trusted with someone’s home, their vulnerability, and their story is something that will never be taken lightly. There was never any judgement - only care, compassion, and the deepest respect for her courage.

This clean meant more than a tidy kitchen. It meant relief. It meant breathing again. It meant feeling safe in her own home.

Thank you for trusting us with something so personal. We will always be grateful to her for sharing this and for allowing us to be part of her journey 💜

We have updated our Amazon wishlist and urgently need some of the items as soon as possible before our free clean this Friday. Everything on there is urgent apart from the reed diffusers. The gloves are latex free as one of our volunteers are allergic to latex so we need urgently need these and will be replacing all of our gloves to latex free 💜
