Welcome to Jan Barry Beauty
Let me tell you, about me, who I am and what I love about life. I have been a Beauty Therapist for over 20 years now and my passion is to help others not only to feel good about themselves but to always look their best. At heart, I am a perfectionist myself in everything I do, which in turn drives me every day to make people look and feel amazing.
I started a full-time Beauty Therapy course in Watford in 1991 and was awarded the “Student of the Year” award for dedication and passion for the beauty industry.
I qualified in Physiatrics, Reflex Zone Therapy, Electrology and Aestheticienne in 1992. Year after year I have added to my knowledge and skill set and have become qualified in Aromatherapy, Indian Head Massage, Baby Massage, Reiki Levels I & II, Ayurveda Face-Lift Massage and achieved my Teaching and Assessors Certification in 1999.
In June 2015, I entered into an amazing adventure to further add to my skill set by qualifying as a Permanent Makeup Artist, which has given me a new sense of passion and motivation. This has brought many of my clients the benefits of long lasting Permanent Cosmetic Makeup, which is something I really enjoy doing and the feedback I have received from them has been overwhelming. Permanent makeup really does allow you to look your best 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
