🚨 Urgent Appeal: Save Calvert Exmoor– We Need Your Support! 🚨

We are facing an immediate and critical financial crisis. Without raising £500,000 by August 31st 2024, we will have no choice but to close our doors forever.

🔍 The Challenges We Face:

🌧️Decline in Tourism: The South West tourism sector has been hit especially hard this year by weather issues and increased competition from overseas travel.

💸 Inflationary Pressures: The costs of running our centre have risen sharply due to inflation. Essentials like food, fuel, maintenance, and wages have all become more expensive, putting a strain on our finances.

Our situation is dire. More importantly, our guests will lose a vital offering. Calvert is much more than a mere break from routine. Our centre is a sanctuary of warmth and inclusion in a world where many feel left out due to dwindling services and opportunities. 🌟

**Important Announcement: Closure of The Bobath Centre**

Dear Supporters, Funders, and Service Users,

It is with deep regret that we announce the closure of the Bobath Centre. After careful consideration of our financial situation, we have reached the difficult decision to cease operations.

Despite our best efforts, ongoing financial challenges have made it impossible for us to sustain our services. The Board of Trustees has made the decision to close The National Bobath Cerebral Palsy Centre due to the lack of support from NHS England and other statutory agencies. This decision was not taken lightly, and we understand the impact it will have on our community.

Closure Details:

• Closure Date: The National Bobath Cerebral Palsy Centre will cease operations on 31st May 2024.

• Transition Support: We are committed to supporting our service users during this transition period, helping them access alternative sources of support where possible.

To those who use our services:
We want to thank you for allowing us to be a part of your journey. Your resilience and trust have been truly inspiring, and it has been an honour to support you.
