We were so fortunate to come together for a big, community-wide festive celebration. We enjoyed our drama group’s Christmas show, with communal singing and merriment. After, we received a visit from Santa (thanks to the generosity of Great Brickhill Women’s Institute - GBWI and LUSH UK). We finished the celebrations with a Christmas Disco with music, dancing, and festive fun. What a fantastic day!

It may be winter, but kite flying season arrived here at Camphill with our talented Art & Craft Team, Emma, Amy, Helen, Jaye and Brendan making these amazing kites and Japanese windsocks! Jo, Ally and Roanna took them to Willen Lake to test them out, followed by a tea break at Lovatt Fields, and it was lots of fun!

Our gardens team has begun their annual round of servicing garden machinery. Ben, Eddie, Owen, and Travis have developed practical skills under Shaun's guidance. We have had a big tidy-up and fitted two vices to tables thanks to the Tools Workshop! The Friday group built an Obelisk to support a climbing rose. The team also visited a plant nursery to collect our new raspberry canes and had a look at the lovely Christmas display.

Welcome to Camphill Milton Keynes

Our mission is to create a living and working community where people with learning disabilities and those who support them may reach their full potential in the spirit of lifelong learning. Here at Camphill Milton Keynes Communities we have houses at our Willen and Pennyland sites but we also work with people who live outside of our community. We run a varied program of workshops designed to teach new skills and provide valuable work and life experiences all in a fully supported environment. We run Land Craft, Garden, Bakery, Café, Shop, Theatre, Weavery, Basketry, Art & Craft, Music, Tech Lab and Newsletter workshops. Community is a key part to life here at Camphill Milton Keynes. As well as our workshops we also have regular events and activities open to everyone. One of the rather unique things about us is that we work hard to ‘build community’ by getting people involved in projects that are not much to do with their work but create social and cultural activity where we all have a part to play.
