HEALTHY MEAL?

OR NOT?

IN YOUR OPINION…..

HAVEN’T HAD HAM, EGG & CHIPS 🐖🥚🍟 FOR SOOOO LONG, I CANT REMEMBER! 🤔

But was pretty good

Loads of protein, some good quality carbs in home made chips, (air fried) and peas (was the only veg I had left by the end of the week, as I’m a bit of a veg monster) Drizzled with a little Sriracha! 🥵😂

Now this may not look like a particularly healthy meal to some.

BUT

This is how you can make your own home made weekend treat meal, and make it healthy than a pub meal, takeaway or ultra processed shop bought ready meal.

REAL potatoes 🥔
(Air fried in a tablespoon of olive oil)
HAM - As least processed & best quality you can afford.
EGGS - Free grange organic (if you can)
Olive oil 🫒- for cooking

There’s normally always a way you can make your meals healthier by pimping them up & still have the plates you love!

JUST a little food for thought!

THIS BREAKFAST SAVED MY LIFE! 😱

Ok maybe slightly dramatic 😜 but I 100% do attribute it to helping improve my health and strengthen my immune system.

It’s my trusty Kefir breakfast bowl (that Iv pretty much eaten daily, for the last 4 yrs, just varying the fruit & nuts for diversity)

This is one way I make sure I get my gut nourishing kefir, plus an array of fruit, nuts/seeds to strengthen my immune system & nourish my body…….
A great thing to do with your first meal, kinda sets you up on the right path for the day!

SWIPE ⬅️ for every stage pics
- TBSP milled linseed
- tsp organic maca powder
- tsp organic super green powder
- Kefir milk & natural Kefir Yoghurt (unflavoured, unsweetened)
- Fruit of your choice, (todays was mango 🥭 strawberry 🍓, blackcurrants, kiwi 🥝
- 6-8 Nuts of your choice (todays was broken almonds)
- tsp organic raw cacao nibs

Soak all powders in enough kefir milk to make a paste.
Once soaked & set, top with kefir yoghurt, then your fruit, & top off with nuts & nibs for texture.

I usually make this the evening before & pop in the fridge to grab & take to work with me.

Are you always buying the same 3-4 fruit & veg every week in your shop? 🤔

One of the things that can massively help your gut health, and micro biome is eating a hugely varied diet.

Aim to try and include around 30 different fruit, veg, plant based foods per week….. (Not processed foods)

This can also included things like spices, herbs, nuts, seeds, legumes, certain ancient grains etc.
