Youth Mental Health First Aid - Special Offer

A reminder of our one-time-only special offer for a Youth MHFA course, being run in conjunction with Milton Keynes charity the Centre - Hazard Alley.

The course is being offered at a 70% discount on the RRP of £325 + VAT. Spaces are strictly limited and on a first-come-first-served basis. Had another great catch-up yesterday - this time with accountant extraordinaire Roger Eddowes from Essendon Accounts & Tax.

Networking groups are really important, but the real power of networking is finding people that you have a real connection with, and who you're happy to recommend to others.

Roger and I discussed everything from dogs to the Isle of Wight over a lovely coffee, but it was also great that he has clients who may be in need of Mental Health First Aid training for their businesses. For my part, I would definitely recommend Roger and his team if you're in need of a proactive accountancy firm that has your best interests at heart.

Life Thru a Lens

Had a great day at Willen Hospice Milton Keynes on Friday, filming with Reece King from King Productions for a new online resource.

Designed to help first aiders keep their skills up-to-date, it will be freely available to White Dog members (membership is free when you train with us for the duration of your certificate).

Reece is now working on editing - keep watching this space for when the final edit goes live.

Oh, and a special shout out to Katie Goddard from The Colour Crew for getting the pop-up banner (designed by The Edge Brands) to me in time to help dress the set!

Emergency First Aid at (Another) Work

Had a great day yesterday delivering an EFAW course to the team at Bucks Biz Business Centres in Bletchley.

It's always lovely to meet a really enthusiastic group who are up for enjoying themselves, whilst also learning the skills that will give them the confidence to be able to cope in an emergency.
