We are building a mental health service for anyone over the age of 8 years old to access across Milton Keynes.
We think mental health services should be easy, meaningful and not come with long waits or high thresholds.

As Christmas approaches, we know this time of year can bring a mix of emotions. While many people are looking forward to the festive period, others may be feeling lonely, overwhelmed or struggling more than usual.
If this week feels hard, please know that support is available. You don’t have to manage it alone. We've dropped some resources into the comments, please use these if needed.
If you’re able to, please check in on someone else - a colleague, friend or loved one - it could make a real difference to them too.
From all of us at Arthur Ellis, we’re holding space for everyone this Christmas. Be gentle with yourself, and reach out if you need support. 💚

As many of us begin to sign off for Christmas, it’s worth pausing to check in on the people around us 💚
For some, this time of year brings rest and connection. For others, it can actually increase feelings of loneliness - especially once our work routines pause and offices fall silent.
If you can, take a moment to reach out to someone. Send a message or make a quick call and ask "how are you really?"
These small moments of connection can make a big difference. Not everyone will tell you they’re struggling, but knowing someone has thought of them can mean more than we realise.
As we head into the festive break, let’s look out for our colleagues, friends and loved ones, and remind each other that we’re not alone.

As the winter months draw in, many people brace themselves for more than just the cold weather. For some, the month of December brings a peak an unexpected rise in loneliness, something which has recently been referred to as a "crisis hidden in plain sight" 💔
For that reason, December is the perfect opportunity to prioritise connection with those around us, no matter how big or small. You can read more about how you could do this using our Bananas and Doughnuts framework here 🍌🍩 via
We're approaching the time of the year where loneliness is at its peak. It’s not just about being physically alone - it’s the feeling of lacking meaningful connection, of not being seen or understood. As we head into December, prioritising connection is one of the most powerful things any of us can do, for ourselves and for the people around us.
A 20-minute walk, a catch up with a colleague, trying a new recipe, volunteering for an hour: None of these will transform a whole season, but together, they help counteract the heaviness winter can bring.
If you’d like to know more about how to support yourself and those around you by using our Banana habits, you can read more on our website. Link is in the comments 💚

ICYMI, the Community Christmas Tree Festival is BACK at Place - and this year thanks to Franklins, we’ve got a tree of our very own 😍🎄
While doing their Christmas shopping, guests are encouraged to look at the displays throughout the mall and vote for their favourite tree, scanning the tree’s QR code to vote for the best design. The top three trees will win a donation from a central prize pot contributed to by Festival sponsors.
Obviously we would love you to vote for ours… Here’s a sneak peek 🫣
You can see the trees at Midsummer Place until Christmas Eve 🎅
Thanks Midsummer Place and Franklins Solicitors for giving us the chance to be involved! ❤️

💚 We’re excited to share some news! 💚
We have been selected for next year’s Franklins Solicitors £50 Challenge, and we’d LOVE you to be part of it!
If you haven’t heard of the challenge before, it’s simple and fun:
Franklins give your business or team £50. Your challenge is to use that £50 to raise as much as you can to support our mental health charity.
You can get as creative as you like 🎉
Last year we saw:
✨ Disco bingo
✨ Samosa making masterclasses
✨ Office bakes & team lunches
✨ Raffles & quiz nights
And just in case you’re new here, hello! 👋 We support people across the UK to access fast, compassionate mental health support, often in as little as four days.
For many people, that support is life changing. If your business, school, workplace, sports team or community group would like to get involved, we’d truly love to hear from you.
Drop us a message or comment below 💚 Let’s make something amazing happen together.

🎲 Exciting news for younger children and their families
Recently, we launched a Play Therapy Pilot for children aged 4–12. Sometimes, words alone aren’t enough. But through using puppets, sand trays, art and music, our 1-to-1 sessions help children express themselves and work through emotional or mental challenges in a safe and supported environment.
If you’d like to find out more or refer someone who might benefit, we’d love to hear from you.

Wondering how you can help us through the year?
You can now donate to Arthur Ellis: Mental Health Support monthly!
Recently, we officially launched our online donation system, meaning you can help us deliver crucial mental health support which will improve the lives of children.
We are grateful for every penny you can contribute. Please let your friends know that they can donate too 💚
We know that it's important for you to support causes that mean a lot to you, but a traditional Workplace Membership Programme might not fit properly.
That's where we come in. For just £50 a month, you can become a Community Member and directly fund mental health mentoring sessions for children, young people and adults who need support right now.
No large teams, no corporate commitments... Just meaningful impact, led by you.
If you’d like to join us in making mental health support more accessible, we’d love to welcome you.
Be the first to know and let us send you an email when Arthur Ellis: Mental Health Support posts news and promotions. Your email address will not be used for any other purpose, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
We build teams to deliver practical tools and strategies to help everyone recover, manage and maintain their mental health.
By working with organisations and adults on a 1:1 basis, we are able to provide a free and sustainable emotional support service for children who are unable to access support.
75% of children are currently unable to access mental health services nationally. Our mentors are qualified and experienced professionals that offer meaningful and diverse support for a range of mental health issues.
The 1:1's we provide to adults provides children with free sessions and gives the opportunity for anyone to express how they feel, improve their mental health and become #IndependentFromIllness.
There should be no criteria needed for someone who feels they are in need of guidance or mentoring.
The mental health crisis needs more than awareness for it to be resolved. Clear and practical strategies need to be made available to everyone so we are able to live freely and without constraints and know how we can directly help others.
Our award-winning , bespoke training programmes build teams in organisations that can identify when an individual is being impacted by their mental health and provide practical tools and strategies to support them independently through the recovery, management and maintenance of their mental health.
Our approach to mental health is creating a supportive service; whether it’s our own or in other organisations that ultimately allows us to build a free 1:1 emotional support service for children across the country.
In addition to our training, this 1:1 service is sustained by donations, our products, sponsorship and our 1:1 service for adults to help create a sustainable, positive impact in our communities.
If you feel you need our advice and guidance, you can contact us via our website or if you wish to donate or contribute then please look at our shop and other services.
Can you help the nation become #IndependentFromIllness?
