🧚🏼‍♀️🌳🚲 August was so sweet 💘 I turned 29!! Celebrated with a gorgeous trip to Shakespeare’s birthplace, we had pre yoga tea and birthday cake!!🎂🍰 I did some amazing synchronised swimming with my cousin 🥰 did some lovely crafting, spent loads of time cycling around with some epic people 🫶🏼 and picked some apples!!🍎 an absolutely beautiful busy month 💖🙏🏼

Bookings now open - join us for a cosy day of rest this autumn!

Autumn is the perfect time to slow down, pause, and take care of yourself. After a busy summer, this retreat offers a chance to step away from the rush of everyday life and enjoy a day of gentle movement, intentional rest, mindful creativity, and nourishing food - all designed to help you recharge, recentre, and welcome the changing season.

Our retreat day will include:

✨ Meditation – a welcoming meditation to gently settle in, creating a calm foundation for the day ahead.

✨ Yin Yoga – gentle yin yoga to help you slow down, release tension and bring a sense of balance to the body and mind.

✨ Seasonal Food – a wholesome, healthy lunch prepared by Foodtopia, plus warming teas and light refreshments.

✨ Creative Workshop – learn the art of felting with Sadie and take home a unique handmade piece as a keepsake of your day.

✨ Yoga Nidra – a deeply relaxing autumn themed yoga nidra to close the day.

✨ Time to Pause – space to relax, reflect, connect with others, or simply enjoy a quiet cup of tea in a cosy and welcoming environment.

With a maximum of 10 places, this retreat offers an intimate and welcoming space to embrace intentional rest, calm your mind, and reconnect with yourself as the season changes. No previous yoga or felting experience is needed - just bring yourself, and a willingness to slow down and enjoy the day.

💫🌳🧘🏼‍♀️ that’s a wrap on Millfield yoga this summer!! I can’t believe how quickly the time has gone!! It’s been absolutely lovely starting the weekend with outdoor yoga, soaking up the sun, embracing our wobbly tree poses, and I’ve loved getting to meet so many new people. Thank you to everyone who came along and made it so special. 💖

Will hopefully be back next year🙏🏼💘 until then, Monday and Wednesday classes are running as usually, with some exciting things coming up so keep an eye out!🧿👄🧿

A relaxing Sunday morning of gentle yoga at the best coffee shop in MK! I’ll guide you through a 60-minute class designed to leave you feeling calm, centred, and refreshed. Expect gentle movement, deep breaths, and time to slow down - the perfect start to your Sunday.

A nervous tree with hat hair on top of Cheddar Gorge 🙂‍↕️🌳 beautiful weekend away exploring Somerset, taught me that when a walk is categorised as ‘hard’ it really is HARD. The 8 Limbs of Yoga 🪷

When most people think of yoga, they picture the physical postures, the stretching, strengthening and balancing (maybe by someone wearing expensive leggings!). But yoga is so much more than just the postures, or asana in Sanskrit. It’s a detailed ancient philosophy that offers guidance on how to live a meaningful, connected life, and I need you to know about it!!

The Eight Limbs of Yoga come from the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, one of the key texts in yoga philosophy, and provide the framework that many modern yoga practices are built upon.

Understanding, or even just being curious about the philosophy of yoga can bring so much more depth to our practice. It helps the postures feel more meaningful and intentional, and it can support us in cultivating greater awareness and compassion both on and off the mat.

I’m exploring the idea of offering a monthly Deep Rest yoga session and would really love your input before I set anything up!💫

Each session would combine gentle, slow yoga with a long Savasana or Yoga Nidra, designed to support rest, relaxation, and restoration. There will also be optional time to connect and chat before we begin.💙
